At the time of its release it even kinda bombed. It took years before people say 9 for what it really was, a combination of [at the time] modern Final fantasy style with the classically themed light hearted world that tried to kill you.

I loved FF2. The system was so abusable to the point where you can be a god from the start of the game. It was different, and I appreciate that. Btw you dont really need to keep hitting yourself to get HP. If you get hurt in battle, chances are your HP will increase.

I too liked 2 a lot. Besides just because you can raise your HP by hitting yourself doesn't mean you have to. Don't like it? Then don't do it. It's a single player game, so do or don't do whatever you like in your playthrough. Nobody's forcing you to use an "exploit" just because it's there.

I will admit I was one of the twelve people who played Dissidia, and Warrior of Light was the better of all the others, he had ranged Brave attacks and Close ranged Brave attacks that can balance out his strengths, literally spent over 200 hours in the original Dissidia on my PSP, most of it grinding to attempt getting legendary weapons to finally unlock the Chaos campaign, I heard about, to this day I still haven't defeated Chaos for the final time to see if the campaign exists or not with a roided out Warrior of Light in all Mythril armor and a Platinum Sword and Shield that for some reason after twenty attempts since 2009 :3

Their animation techiniques have improve but they are very minimalistic, they are kinda doing what Looney toons did in the..i think 60s? They compensate with great jokes, Voice acting (Not all of them) and sometimes By pure ACCIDENT they end fixing the messy plots of some games. I just wish they had more Subscribers for the patreons, i mean their budget its very limited and i alredy gave them 2$!!

Final Fantasy 6 is obviously the best. It has an amazing storyline that touches on both fantasy and sci-fi themes, has action packed scenes, comical scenes, and heart shattering scenes all packed in. The cast is amazingly fun to play with, all of them get a huge amount of screen time including complete storylines for all of them. Then on the villain side Kefka isn't trying to rule anything, or take over anything, he's trying to simply destroy the world and that's all. And guess what? He does it! Leading into what feels like a sequel packed into the first game. OH and do you like summon monsters? I know I sure do. 6 has summon monsters for DAYS!!!!

@@xanderszunsol9963 There are a few reasons why FFVII is so popular. 1) It was the first 3D final fantasy and the first rpg for many gamers. 2) Square promoted and advertised the game super heavily on release to get more people in the west into the rpg genre (it worked). 3) There are a lot of fond memories and biases for many people's first Final Fantasy which is where the large following of FFVII came in. Popular does not necessarily mean best, if it did, then Justin Beiber would have been known as the best singer in the world for a while. I am not saying FFVII is bad by any means, and it does get a lot of undue hate from final fantasy fans but by my criteria and the criteria of many it does not fit into the category of "best".

Currently ff1 is the most remade game in the series followed by 2 and 4. 2. Up until now it is one the most influencial JRPG. 3. His Game is the one who saved both Square and Sakaguchi from their failures and he is the reason why theres is cloud and squall 4. They made Dissidia Final Fantasy and Dissidia 012 a prequel to his game. 5. Even it was released back in 1987, many people play this more up until now

First of all, i'd remove those characters who are not characters. Those from ff1 to ff3, i mean. Then, i'd put a percentage of characters based on the popularity and iconicity of the title. For example, have you played dragon quest heroes? It takes characters from the fourth to the eighth chapter and has more characters from dq4, which has the biggest and, arguably, most iconic roster of the series. And i don't think people complained
