M. Woller Aye. He’s already rather crazy in XIV with his obsession to find a worthy opponent, but now he’s surrounded by them, and is loving every second of it. He’s one of the few NT characters who are genuinely enjoying all the fighting they’re doing, and would likely choose to fight even more. The quotes where I see his crazy nature is the summon ones, as he is much more direct with wanting his enemies dead.

Woller That's what I really like about him; there was the one backstory where they mentioned he'd kill his own men for burning villages in a cowardly way rather than actually trying to foster challenge. That was the quest where they talk about how he challenged the best men of the Doman Liberation front alone and unarmed(he still killed them all), but he at least attempted to kinda even the odds before he beat them to death.

@M. Woller There's a great short story with him in Chronicles of Light, the new book they had released. One of the new stories included was about him as a child(well, early teenager.) It explains a lot without being hamfisted with anything and was really well written to boot. He became one of my favorite villains after Stormblood and especially after hearing even more about him. Was my most wanted character for Dissidia and I was super-happy to see him included. (He's a ton of fun in this too. Love his playstyle.)

Historically, Odin in FF has been known to hesitate. In VIII he gets cut in half by a twinkus and in WOFF and XIII Lightning puts him in his place. That and him missing Zantetsuken constantly in the PS1 games tells me that he's not the most imposing summon beyond his appearance.

@@dannybu898 A bit of a correction a little too late, but Spoilers of Endwalker again: He gorged the REMAINS of the Mothercrystal after a great chunk of it's aether was used to power the Ragnarok to make the trip into Ultima Thule. Now quantifying how much energy was used AND left of the Mothercrystal is a whole other beast, seeing that it allowed Zenos to regain the form of Shinryu, one of the strongest primals in FF14 story AND allowed him to travel possibly FASTER than the Ragnarok did.

@@nalrashido (also spoilers) You probably know this by now but for everyone else; this is false. An ascian took his place for awhile but he was never an ascian. He's now currently working with an ascian but any and all magical power he has are from artificial or given means. It's also technically somewhat normal for him to be purposely summoning primals because he literally fused with and became one for a bit (Shinryu). Just like Thancred, his body was stolen but he, uh, got better.
