It sucks that hardly anyone played this game because they finally, FINALLY made Cloud like he was in the original than the emo phase since Advent Children in other games like the PSP dissidias. He's actually smiling, he's not downer, he's complimenting his opponents.

Remake Cloud nailed it imo. Plus the whole “emo” phase in AC was Cloud going through a PTSD trip. Everyone chalked it up to him just being emo when the main point of the movie was Cloud not forgiving himself for Aerith’s death. Not to mention Cloud’s always been the quiet type, even in FF7.

This is really the only look we’ve gotten at him post AC, and it makes sense. He’s opened up to his friends and forgiven himself; this is a self-actualized Cloud, and it sucks we never got more of him.

It's too bad Sony network took over the casting, secretly fired the whole original FF7 voice cast at the last minute before the 2019 E3 event happened and then replaced them with the CW/CBS/Warner Bros/Sony stars so they could lure the gamers into their fallen, mediocre shows. Clearly, the whole original FF7 voice cast were all upset about it. This is worse than what happened to David Hayter aka Big Boss, James C. I don't hate Steve Burton. He started out pretty freakin bad in Kindom Hearts and Advent Children, though he did get better. He kinda sounds a little too old to play Cloud in my opinion, he sounds 30ish. He tended to have deadpan delivery in his lines (and still does sometimes, especially with when he summons Ifirit). He does have his moments though, i feel his best potrayal of Cloud was definitly Crisis Core (minus the fact that he still sounds to old for someone at the age of around 16).
