Dissidia Final Fantasy: Vs. Cloud Strife Intros

Square Enix's spikey haired flagship hero telling everybody else who's boss. His intro with Kuja is definitely my favorite. But it would've been alot better if Cloud made his intros when he was still arrogant and had Zack Fair's mentality like back in the beginning of Final Fantasy VII. His "Let's mosey!" line really should've been in Dissidia.

Why is Cloud so down? Oh... I don't know.. Maybe because he lost his best friend, first love, not to mention blaming himself for the loss of both. For a long time his entire existence is a lie, his own memories are someone else's, and he has to face is own reality, all while having the fate of the entire world on his shoulders.

Well that's because the voice director wanted for Steve Burton to do all those pausings because the Japanese voice actor for Cloud did the same thing

To be fair, his 'mid-sentence' pauses are synonymous with his development as a character. I can only assume he is very hesitant in every way, down to his delivery of speech. You have to remember, he lost his only/best friend and a girl he loved and blames both accounts on himself. Anyone would be hesitant and take time to measure every choice they make after that.

Well, he's normally pretty good as Cloud. He voiced him in Advent Children and Kingdom Hearts too, and he didn't do all this pausing bullshit very much in there. And when he did it sounded natural. For some reason he decided to channel William Shatner when he did the Dissidia games.
