I picked mine up last week. It came with SW-Motech Trax Aluminum luggage (which I preferred) and without the spotlights and headlamp protector (which may be a homologation issue). They were in the middle of a web-site upgrade, the 'old' site had the Euro version pic's (this looks like a Euro version test ride M/C) and a mouth-watering $8K price drop on the build it section, now fixed :O I'm very happy with mine :)

That is probably the most important planning part of the electric bike---how far it will take you and where do you need to stop and plug in. The charging website would be very useful for that. I saw when the Livewire was at Frazier's HD and took my test ride that they had a little infor station set up with a screen showing different aspects and one of the pages was the charging station locations. 😎😎

I like the electric bike concept, actually it would work for a lot of the less than 100 mile days I do going around my county and seeing friends and grabbing lunch. At my age I can not ride with my legs in that position. Now if zero bike would build a feet forward bagger with either shield or fairing and bags and price it OK, I could see myself on one. It would not have to be as big and heavy as my Victory Cross Country, indeed something small like my Honda Magna would be fine.

EV's are the perfect force multiplier for the individualist. YOU can create your own energy. Solar panels can be had today for LESS than 50 cents per watt! And those panels last 25+ years. You can't do that with a petrol Vehicle. In the future I predict GOVERNMENT will OUTLAW energy self-sufficiency. They never like to give up power (no pun intended).

good video, but when you mention the range, its not like 1 number TO the other YOU SAY ITS BETWEEN, but, if u look above, thats only the number range for power tank models, is a either or even compatible with charge tank models, which is the only practical useful version, or u have a min of 12 hours of ac outlet charging with 18 kw of juice, instead of having the 14.4 kw battery and being able to charge using a j 1772 at 240 volt 26 amp and then it can charge in 2 hours.

CORRECTION: The regenerative braking hardly does anything. The reason you can drive so many MORE miles in the city is because you are going slower. The increase in speed requires more and more energy for each MPH increased. The energy consumed is parabolic with respect to speed. If you drive slow you have less drag, less resistance to wind, thus more range.
