It’s the Old Dude again. I haven’t gotten my Zero yet. Been kinda isolating for the last year. But I got my second vaccine shot about a month ago so I’m ready to make the trip to a dealer. I think I’m probably going to Las Vegas. It’s 495 miles or 797 km. There is also a dealer in Provo Utah which is about half as far. I want to have a large selection. I’m going to be spending enough money that I want to make sure I get what I want. I’m also in the process of getting my house ready to sell. And move. The thought of having to get organized and drag my junk across the street is daunting. The housing market is hot here and I want to take advantage of this and move to a one story house. I already own the house I’ll be moving to so that is taken care of. I just turned 78 a few days ago and the weather is warming up so I’ve got to get going on this. I configured my Aptera a week ago and am making payments on a Sondors Metacycle. The Metacycle is scheduled for delivery in October. Just in time for winter! Keep up the great videos!

@@NewZeroland I really wonder how this works... I mean the two batteries are in parallel and one is obviously bigger than the other one, which means uneven draw between the two. I wonder if the BMS is crapping out cuz it detects too high a voltage difference between the two. But, to my first point, I wonder how this is being done; the BMS must be regulating the amp draw between the two or holding the tank extender in reserve? I work with a DIY 72V 16aH 3kW ebike with a gas generator embedded in the bike frame. 116V is actually not that impressive for a retail e-motorcycle; I thought it be higher than that especially now with the 800V Taycan.
