@juliaconnell3 жыл бұрын
@@daviddamascus9657 no, not at all Just I have a different - perspective - than most people seem to have (most, not all...) Ok so the ship crashed - yes - the title is "distance" - re-read the quote at the start Physical distance - her part of the ship, a minor part, broke awake when they crashed - she is now stuck with a literal physical chasm between them - physical distance There is also visible distance - the conditions are very hostile - you cant SEE very far - she is relying on her technology - her scanners - to look for him, see if he is alive or not Her communications array is damaged - more DISTANCE - they cant communication (refer you back to the quote..) So she: Doesnt know if he survived the crash or not, there are many 'distances' between them Is running out of energy / life support - Even if she manages to get the chemical reaction going (restoring power & oxygen levels - giving her more time, more hope...) There is a major storm heading right for her - she is unlikely to survive Just as she has lost ALL HOPE - her communications array lights up - *he* has "fixed" the ship He doesn't know if SHE is alive She goes out into the storm (which us JUST beginning to hit) - against the advice of the AI / computer (telling her, her suit wont survive the storm - absoutely true - the FULL FORCE - lucky to survive *inside* but the storm is only just starting... She risks it, with her cracked helmet & all - to try to *communicate back* "distance" - quote... He takes off - he has "FIXED" the ship - "dont leave me" It appears that he does - It appears that he flew off - without her But THEN - he comes back !!! He lands the ship (is it a bumpy landing - yes - it's in the middle of a storm - it's a two person crew - he's alone.. He does NOT *crash* the ship - as many seem to think - just got it working enoutlrgh to breach the chasm, so they die together - NO! He FLEW OFF he came back You can see her broken communications array partly light up - all hope is gone - it - he - comes BACK Rough landing (NOT crash) Yes she survives the storm just starting - (slow - CAPTURUNG this moment when all hope was lost - prepared to die (you can see her give up - inside - before the poor communication from him...) - hoped again Risked everything - went out into the storm (he left "dont leave me") - he came back FLYING the "fixed" ship Yes - the communication from him WAS challenging to understand - another "distance" poor communication, lack of communication, misunderstandings Not just two people - humanity - (maybe I'm reading too much into this - maybe - the combined work of a bunch if creative talented people..) So he "fixed" the ship (her part was just a fragment - you can see it break away when they did CRASH onto this hostile environment) He FLEW AWAY on the "fixed ship" He came back - he came BACK - and rescued her - (she was in shock - expecting to die - savoring the moment - 'time stands still' at the end - storm only just starting - the AI/computer was right - even inside the shelter unlikely to survive when FULL STORM unleashed - but just starting So ship is "fixed" He came back and LANDED ( not crashed) the ship (Maybe impact so we - like her - know this is REAL - ) Happy ending

I really didn't get this film. The sticky tape on the helmet at the beginning was hilarious. I couldn't take that serious. When she woke up gasping for breath she had no space suit on her so I can't see how putting her helmet on would have helped her. And then in the next scene she had the whole suit on. The storm at the end looked massive yet she had no difficulty walking through it. I had no connection with the character. Couldn't build any sympathy for her. Her eyeliner and false lashes seemed out of place. Sorry, but the film didn't hit the target with me.

I don't think he crashed at the end - just a bit of a bumpy landing in the storm, with a damaged ship - if you go back the start, the bit she is in is small compared to the test of the ship - when it breaks off - when they both crashed - he manages to convey that he's fixed the ship (she think he leaves her cause he could find no sign of life & her communications array is down - just as she was looking for him, trying to work out if he was alive) - But he comes back - happy ending - they both get off that godforsaken rock That's my understanding anyways

Space suit technologies are enhanced and way better than what you show here.*The golden question for script resources, is Are there very ancient outpost by aliens out there and the answers yes.*You need to also proof read your concepts as well as scripts. Okay I seem to have gotten a lot more of the background and storyline than some others? If it helps I am not a linear thinker so I process data streams out of sequence well. I rather liked how environmental sounds were done. I think the limit in visual and spacial texture via lighting were very artistic. I wonder though if it added emphasis to some of the dectractors in the film? Such as her movements in the storm and her fit of anger? It certainly made the mining scenes disatisfying. Very enjoyable overall and I didn't hate the ending. 🙂👍
