The four seconds that made this, the image of her hand reciprocating the hug, and then the flood of emotions on the face of the other girl. In four seconds or so you’ve shown what it means too be human, well done man well done. I haven’t been hugged in many years..I felt that emotion she had with that hug, how good that must’ve been. That’s how I know this is perfect

A beautiful walk of emotions with downs and ups instead of ups and downs to keep you with a feeling of hope and the meaning of having eachother. There were four modules launched at the beginning, one sleeper in each, 2 girls, 2 boys, in total, I would imagine. At 14:39 the dark haired girl looks at the animal claw damage on the exterior wall and her hand goes to her belly (2nd time) and it looks like she is pregnant, probably from the 4th explorer that presumably got mauled and killed by the wild animal thing. The connection was his possession, that black plastic light-saber-like looking tool, which the blonde haired girl retrieved from near his corpse. The doll represents children, procreation, a basic drive in humans (and in all living things). Play with dolls, play in general, is practice for the real thing, the practice of situations and unfamiliar emotions. The blond girl looks at the drawing of the couple hugging in her scrapbook, in conjunction with the doll (baby), on some intuitive instinctive level, she understand the connection. There is a lot going on here, without words. Well done.

Figured that out all on your own, did ya?.... Lol. What I figure is, at first, the guy was probably thinking to himself "now that the other guy is dead, I've got his girl, plus this new blonde, all to myself. And, if the baby is a girl, he'll have 3 girls to himself. I'm the luckiest guy in the world". After a few months he'll be thinking "why did the other guy have to die and leave me here alone with two crazy bitches and a screaming baby? I must be the most unlucky guy in the world"..... Lol.

Exceptional film. Very well done VERY well and beautifully acted by the Stunning Emma Liegler I would literally watch anything if she was in it. Please someone put this extraordinarily talented women in a movie or series. I'm not sure how I feel about the lack any lines (the spoken word) in this film. It works as it is. Somehow just does not ring true that she never speaks. People who are alone do talk to themselves, especially after TWO years alone. That is just basic human nature. The only reason I can think of as to why they would not talk is if the human voice attracts the monster.

@seraphimgracesantiago-gonz82194 жыл бұрын
Not sure however, I think that is the whole point, objective for these short films. I haven't seen too many, enough to guesstimate they are all post apocalyptic. So this being noted it is in fact anyones conclusion as to ,what, why and allowed me to extrspulate ( this shall be most interesting, what ppl hurl at me with words I don't speak lightly, from experience, perhaps just that in itself the words in quotations , will make the indecisive wanna be,s quiet " You think?? Nahhh Proceeding on it leaves many possibilities all which unless you are extremely empathetic, (an empath) are less to be desired. Welcome to the age of the lost children. We have been lost since modern man entered the so called "modern age" I think that it shows that people are mindless, arrogant so much that they destroy without consequence , act without remorse, and repeat with no compassion or mercy and these are just a few, observation, assessment, collateral damage a neccessary evil...... Well what should I know I've only existed since the beginning These short movies..... leave everything to you °°°°°
@beverlybalius93034 жыл бұрын
Michelle Bolen How did you figure all that out?? It made absolutely no sence at all!
@seraphimgracesantiago-gonz82194 жыл бұрын
@@beverlybalius9303 my conclusion and I don't want to leave a spoiler alert for people that read the comments to decide whether to watch or not is that this is very symbolic. And most apocalyptic, post-apocalyptic short stories leave the reader to make their own decision. It's a matter of perception, and many people perceive things in many different ways, the title Eden basically is symbolic of a new beginning. Eden was where Adam and Eve started according to the Bible that is. They started or they began to have a form which God gave them he lived in a paradise kind of Garden of Eden is also extremely symbolic. I don't want to draw this comment out too much further, it's interesting enough and without spoiling it for others, the girls alone and as it continues it's a very apparent what this is all about. post-apocalyptic I'm sure you know that it means after the world has been destroyed Human start over again. message many of the movie's leave The Watcher or the viewer to decide in their own mind as with most post-apocalyptic movies how they perceive the ending will be and it's usually very similar but very different

Ok. I’m no genius but here’s my take on this short--even though not asked for. Great job by the way. Well done. So this is about human innate instincts. To survive-eat sleep water shelter. To reproduce. (The pregnancy) Longing for companionship-a mate, and not just a mate, but a fruitful productive protector (the fur) (the spear she had). Longing for acceptance. (Searching for the other individuals in pods). Evolution-always exploring and searching and wondering. And then we stumble upon our emotions. (The long companionate hug at the end. The blond looking at beauty and the beast not understanding what or why she was in need of or looking for.) please take notice the love expressed at the end was was that of compassion for the loss of life and the hardship that comes with it. It was not sexual in nature. Real pure empathy. This short was about human basics and nothing else. Perhaps why language and vocal comms left out. This is a snap shot of early human history-just presented in a way that today’s newly evolved people can understand. I’m 48 years old and well educated at one of America’s finest institutions. I learned about early human life and evolution in the 70’s and 80’s. There was minimal minimal technology then. Just solid understanding. But I have a son that is 18 y/o. Can you imagine what it would be like for him to sit down in class one day and be presented human instinct and evolution as it was presented to me? No way!!! Thus this short was presented to today’s youth in a manner in which it better understood. But again-I’m no genius.
