Yea, hop ear is pretty good in a synchro deck that it can serve as a dodge or can go into interruption. It's also very good in my ghoti deck as i can also go into non fish synchro on the opp turn.

The deck definitely has a problem with deckout from Camellia spam but otherwise looks fairly solid in terms of BO1. Bystials, Havnis, maybe Lady if you smacked someone with an Inperm or it's the Labrynth mirror, enough people are on Links that Fantastical Dragon Phantazmay could potentially make a comeback in certain formats. Fabled and Dark World have options off the Furniture discards. Even Roze could become an option if the new Striker Link-2s get popular enough. Maybe more Turn 0 Synchro options might be what the mechanic needs to stop losing to coin flips so often.
