The Distillers never got a fraction of the recognition they deserved. One of the greatest punk bands of all time in my opinion, and one of the very few bands of their time that can stand with the original punk rock bands of the 70's.

idk I mean I dig them but I feel like if you're talking about the OG punk rock bands of the 70s you're talking about like the Clash and the Slits, then they're missing the mark a little, but to a lesser extent the Sex Pistols which I think is more the direction they're going in terms of hard rocking driving punk music, they do really well, and frankly this song in particular her voice is so incredible it's like spicy, and electric, it sizzles on the ear and it makes me want to scream and it's so beautiful

I can be a bit of a cynical punk sometimes and I hate plastic pop that pretends to be punk but if you don't get goosebumps listening to that voice you ain't human, Brody is 100% real you can feel the pain in that voice it goes straight to the soul, that band never tried to be part of any trends they just are what they are, always loved that band and always will.
