Distillery turns over-stocked/expired beer into gin, vodka, & whiskey

Beer has a shorter shelf life than wine and spirits have, so Rebru Spirits takes over-stocked/ expired beer from San Diego breweries that are destined for the drain and repurposes it into gin, vodka, and whiskey.
Their methods deviate from the norm due to an innovative approach to limit the impact on the environment.
ReBru was built on the idea of upcycling, best and better practices, and having less of a negative impact on our environment. This is who they are as a company.
Everything they use at ReBru is sourced locally when possible, organic when feasible, and repurposed when logical. Rebru thinks about the footprint of each ingredient before using it in their spirits, while still delivering smooth and delicious spirits.

Welcome back.!!! Great too see a video from you after the hiatus... How about a deep dive on the Scottish Whisky Distilleries switching to Gin for faster profits... Aka Scottish Gin Rush...? Obviously, travel permitting :)

Thanks brother! Half way through my masters in brewing and distilling and travel is getting back to normal so it’s go time! I’m in Scotland now and I’m even seeing rum being produced by some distilleries here. A lot of cool new barrel maturations from the wine industry and utilising speciality malts in mash bills. Still so many regs for distillers here in Scotland which can’t innovate like other countries can. I’m doing an Islay documentary and working on another cool project here in Scotland I’ll be announcing later in the year. I’m also going to start discussions on flavor in whisky with Waterford. @@drinkdestinations Wow, where in Scotland? I'm from Edinburgh. That is surprisingly coincidental. Islay has some of the best single malts available. Can't wait to see what style of beverage you decide to master yourself. Down here in NZ, we are finally seeing an end to the international travel restrictions. I hope to be back in the motherland again soon. Keep going brother, your channel is great, me and the Mrs love watching you, we loved the Jalisco Tequila content. Can't wait to see you set up your own still, brewery and style etc, especially if you settle in Scotland.... I really like Patrick's content too, also got a lot Dr ho's chanel.
