DISTORTION. A Stop motion Animation by Guldies

2500 still pictures played at 24 frames per second. Shot with a Canon EOS 600D and animated in Dragonframe. The clay I used is called PLASTILINA. Everything edited in Photoshop CC and Sony Vegas Pro. Sound effects recorded with a Blue Yeti and also taken from freesound.org.

To those in the future wondering about the DISLIKE ratio: apparently this was recommended on KZbin Kids, and I’m assuming the Karen’s of the world thought it was too weird for their children. But of course, I think it’s wonderful art. :)

I thought this was CG at first!!! Mind-blowing that this is done frame by frame with real clay!!! The fluidity is flawless!!! Even if it were CG, it still looks fantastic. But knowing that this is made traditionally frame by frame by hand is just astonishing!!! Brilliant work!!!!

Honestly I think what makes me forget that this is Clay is the sound effects. I do not know why I really appreciate the hard thunking including that happens on the surface when the blocks fall and stuff. I don't know how to put it It's like texture through audio and I love it to death. The animation is amazing but I have to praise the editing as well
