Sadly the car crash call ended with a family of four dying. The guy who lost his leg lived. Christina Booth slashed the throat of her two year old and her 6 month old twins, but they survived. She was sentenced to 14 and a half years in prison for attempted murder. 25 year old Dylan Peterson killed Sandra Torell and her son Matthew Nagle and was sentenced to 57 years in prison.

i think i watched a watch mojo video on the car crash and the floor mats (i believe in a specific Toyota ) would slide up and jam the accelerator and it caused a huge recall on the vehicle where they had to trim the pedal so it wouldn't get jammed

Just adding to this that the lady who slashed her babies throats was going through an episode of postpartum psychosis (not saying she didnt deserve her scentencing). Childbirth can really mess with someone's mental health. There was a popular Reddit /r/relationshipadvice where a woman gave birth and a few months later began to have a psychotic episode where they believed everyone around them was replaced. That none of them were real/imposters and that because of that the baby wasn't hers. She forgot everything. I've also had a friend go on suicide watch because she went through severe postpartum depression.

I worked at 911 for 9 years. The quality you are hearing the tape is far superior to what the 911 dispatcher is hearing it. Also, the dispatcher is doing several things at once getting the call dispatched. They may repeat questions just to keep the person on the line while they advance the call.

The one with the babies freaked me out the most. The fact that the father was telling the wife to not say anything when they got there tells me that she did something to them. That really breaks my heart 💔. The car with the accelerator stuck got me too. There's literally nothing that anyone can do to save those poor people

The mother with her 2 baby's actually slashed her 2 year old daughter’s throat first and then did the same to her 6 month old twins. Documents state the mom had two glasses of wine before the incident. Detectives said the mother claimed her husband didn’t help with the kids and she had to take them out of his sight when they cried. The father said his wife was on medication for postpartum depression. The judge set her bail at $3 million. They say the couple made inconsistent statements, but they don’t anticipate charging the father with any crime at this point. This happend in 2015. The 3 kids where recovering in the hospital and they put the kids in protective custody

It's not a bad idea. Depending on the com center, they have so much noise going on between other calls, multiple radios, all the computers pisoners acting stupid, someone coming in, etc. That's one of the reasons why they teach you to repeat and have the caller repeat. Sometimes I would be on the phone and on the radio to the officers, I'd be keyed up and would confirm location (or any other information) so that it would be heard by both the officers/medics and the caller. But yes, I think ALL health screenings should be required by the employer. So many of us let our physical health deteriorate not to mention mental health. 🤍
