Hope for the future. I hope all these kids carry on and well, form a band with me. RIP John Wetton one of my major bass and vocal heroes of all time.

It's cool to hear a band cover a song like "Great Deceiver", and Wetton's voice sounds excellent in this clip.

How intimidating must it be to play John Wetton’s bass lines with him staring right at you? No pressure or anything.

Wetton and King Crimson represents one of the most important phases of the band. Sort of like Picasso in his 'blue period'. A true prog rock bassist among the elite, not to mention that The Voice is unmistakeable right to the end. I always enjoyed JW. R.I.P. man.

Bellissime. Wetton, con la sua bella voce, dava un fascino particolare ai Crimson: veri King.

Remember what your dad told you: "Son, if you ever meet a girl who likes the Three Stooges, Jimi Hendrix, and Progressive Rock, check the plumbing---it's probably not a girl!"
@kensroswell3 жыл бұрын
@@jonsilence In this case, it's absolutely a "girl". Actually it's a WOMAN, that happens to be one of the most talented singers around today (as well as an American Idol semi-finalist) that has a couple excellent solo albums to her credit. Check her out "Leslie Hunt".

What is the cymbal the drummer hits for the quick accents? I know that Bill Bruford used a "dustbin" cymbal for the original recording, but this one sounds decent too...

I'm a huge Crimson fan but why am I not interested in John ?...
@isaacj62125 жыл бұрын
The great thing about Crimson is they have a different flavor for everyone. Greg Lake era, Wetton era, Belew era.. Everyone's taste is different, but personally, I think the Wetton era albums Starless and Bible Black and Red may be my favorites.
