I am sitting with glass of wine and I want to cry. What a master! Thank you, John. Rest In Peace, I am thankful for this song till end of my life

Lark's Tongues, Red are my favourite albums of all time and Wetton had a fabulous voice and (I was surprised when I bought Red the day it was issued) a great composer. Starless is probably my favourite piece of prog. RIP, John.

It is a shame Robert Fripp turned his back on the Wetton era as Starless is the best thing they ever did. Even forty years later it still is remarkable.

KC has actually been playing this a lot on their current tour. I saw them last night and this was the encore

+geneticcontrol yeah KC has gotten back to playing the old stuff live, unfortunately with none of the original players besides Fripp

Yes, the Bruford- Cross- Wetton lineup will of course forever be unsurpassable. Wetton disbanded then but I do not think he was THAT aware that Red was Non ultra plus in the K C history. In retrospect the entire band should of course have dissolved after the Red album and never ever emerged again,

@@shaunsteele6926 Current line up has Mel Collins, so Starless comes out really well.

On the other hand, that's the nature of the beast that is/was King Crimson. We can also be happy that they didn't play themselves into a rut and stopped while ahead.

Wetton was an extraordinary vocalist. For once, I am so glad that the algorithm worked. John Wetton was part of my favorite King Crimson lineup. Good job District 97!

This appears to be the last time John ever sang these old KC songs live. Thanks for all the wonderful prog, John. Dammit, he looks healthy, his voice strong as ever. FUCK YOU, CANCER! "But now it seems the bubble's burst Although you know there was a time When love songs gathered in my head With poetry in every line And strong men strove to hold the doors While with my friends I passed the age When people stomped on dirty floors Before I trod the rock'n'roll stage" Lament, from Starless and Bible Black

What a voice, as good as it was 40 years prior to this. RIP John. You are missed.

"Easy Money" is such a cool song, and Wetton's voice sounds as good as it did back in the seventies. The band tightly covered the King Crimson tunes as well.

I kc. che piu' mi son piaciuti: Wetton, Bruford e Fripp. Musica a 5 stelle. Gli anni 70: un vero incubo, per fortuna la musica era super bella.

Crimson still does Starless, Easy Money and so much more... to this very day. Tony Levin, Gavin Harrison, Fripp, Jakko, Pat and so many others touring in Crimson.

It would be better if Buford was on drums, I heard he wasn't available. The song is a real tearjerker and he does look like he's going to start crying in between the screams.

A vocalista do District 97 nem tinha nascido quando o King Crimson lançou esse clássico.

Cant stop watching this. District 97 are brilliant of course but I cant get over JWs apparent enthusiasm. Ive seen qiite a few legendary bands in the last ten years and despite their best efforts they all seem a bit tired and simply going through the motions. Not old JW , He may be the ONLY seventies era rock legend (for those of us who know) That can still cut it and cut it good. No need to say "he's good for his age" as it is obvious he is simply good.

Gosh I dont see how J W can still be as good as that????? You would think he had recorded all these classic Crimson tracks a couple of weeks ago. He looks like one old rocker who would not dissapoint in the 21st century. (Though he may be a bit schizoid)

If john Wetton and Bill Bruford liked this band they must be good. How do you think this collaboration ever took place. I really doubt if John Wetton would have traveled to the US to go on tour with an unknown band and have his songs butchered.

What an horrible lightning and atmosphere for such a great song....the kids are allright...John looks like a mechanician coming out of the garage ...I don't think he is aware of the magical of a stage ...and his t-shirt is horrible for the stage....
