It's likely SAO season 3 will be out next year or later. The next arc is extremely long and currently has twice as many books as the other arcs such as GGO and SAO.

Really not impressed with Season 2... Not that excited for season 3. Listen guys, if you call yourself an otaku and the only anime you've watched is SAO, you really need to look up the definition of "otaku". Not that it's even a good thing to call yourself..

im an otaku and proud of it. Ive watched around 60 series and read about 110 manga. even bought anime stuff to try and cosplay. people say I have no life BUT, I have my waifu and happy waifu=happy laifu. Alex Smith Cuz you cant make an anime 100 ep long so they have to cut off some part, which applys to every lightnovel when they are make animes of it. When comparing SAO to some other ones it actually did a pretty good job.
