I really hope that Ally and Jake come together and work together to become the Final 2. They are two sides of the same coins. Jake as an introvert longs for companionship after years of being hurt and alone asides from Miriam. Meanwhile Ally being an Extrovert needs everyone to like her for her career as a Streamer. Both have a bad relationship with their parents and are largely influenced by their Grandparents. Both of them make spur of the moment decisions based on how their feeling in that moment. It'd be nice to have a finally where it's not Hero vs Vilnian but rather just 2 people trying to win 3 million.

It’s so obvious Jake is gonna be the winner of all stars. There is one thing both 2 winners have in common (not counting beta), they’ve both had redemption arcs. Miriam was an angry old lady that would judge people and not open up to others, once she met Jake she realized that she shouldn’t judge others at first sight and she opened herself up. Same with James, he was just some influencer who was obsessed with fame and he used Aiden for money, he ended up getting together with Aiden and no longer only focusing on his social medias. Jake is going through the same path, he was a naive character in season 1 and he trusted everybody (aka Tom, Ellie, Fiore, Miriam, etc) now in all stars he was first seen as aggressive and still a bit naive but now he’s learning and focusing on the game, he was annoying in the first half and is now becoming more open and forgiving like how he forgave Aiden and Tom, he also put his differences aside with Ally in the last few episode for the game, example the start of ep14’s challenge and ep12 and ep17’s elimination. (Sorry I’m not the best at explaining 😥)

You explained it fine. Clearly, the writers are setting him up to win. Not only because they gave him a main protagonist plot, they also gave him a miniseries with Tom after this is over. He’s clearly the writers’ favorite. I had no hopes for him to win in the beginning but Ashley’s elimination was sort of a wake-up call for him to improve & work with the people he initially had conflict with (Aiden & Ally - which their rivalry is still continuous). Even if this episode was not his greatest, I think the writers are going to give him a chance to improve again & win it all.

Ok to start with the one thing I liked: Ally was so adorable with her game; she was so adorable this episode especially with Conner and I'm proud of her gamer girl using her controller reflexes on Riya that was cathartic. Now on to the bad: We miss Grett being the finals for this? All that talk about Conner being Riya's downfall and he just quits. Again?! And Jake was doing so well, and he picks now? Now? to regress back to his jealous petty side great thanks again Jake you better make up for it in the finale. I did like the goodbye scene the pep talks and hugs
