That brain dump to -do list scared the crap out of me and it’s not even my list! I usually try to limit the items on mine but days like today happen where things are added on the fly and it feels like that list will never stop.

I have always gotten so overwhelmed by to-do list because my mind works in your brain dump list. Watching you break it down though is an excellent strategy that I will use moving forward. I also have to remember not to write down tasks that I know I have to do like laundry, pay bills, or dishes because those make my lists appear longer.

I think it’s the teacher brain mentality when you have so much to do and can get overwhelmed with trying to get everything done. Let me know how it works for you my friend! Thanks so much for being here😊

This is what I think my mind can handle. I subscribed because I think we are on the same page for simple but thorough planning. Not overly complicated but effective on my part. I'm an empty nester (somewhat) and I don't have a lot on my plate daily. This is simple and concise -- a brain dump and then transfer to the day in the week to complete it. I think that I will just go through the brain dump and put the day I think I can get it done in pencil. And if I don't get to it, I can change the day. THANKS so much

I have long lists each day. The list is made daily. Things not done gets carried over to the next day. The more I get checked off, the better I feel, so I will add tasks after they are done so I can check them off 😊. I will break down the tasks into smaller tasks so clean turns into tasks by room. I do have a top three priority. Not sure it does me much good as I don’t pay adequate attention to it. After a while it gets annoying to carry a task forward, so it gets done or scratched. So do I disagree with you? Not at all! It is important to know how you function and what works best for you. It is important to be realistic about what you can accomplish each day. I think you found a good solution.

Hi!😊 What a wonderful video! I love using paper to sort out thoughts and tasks, it’s just so helpful to see things written down and then checked off when they’ve been taken care of! I think this is a very organized and calm way to go about this! Everything still gets done but it’s no longer overwhelming (or at the very least it’s less overwhelming!). Thank you so much for sharing this with us, I think it’s a great idea and super helpful! Thinking calm thoughts your way!!❤❤
