Hi Sarah! I'm just following you after a few days of watching your videos. I've seen some of them on Shabbat, and I would love to know about what you do from Saturday morning along the day to go on keeping the Sabbath celebration. I understand the idea of resting and reconnecting with God, but how you do it, after celebrating the Sabbath (Friday evening) meal in family? I haven't found any videos explaining this part and I want to understand Shabbat fully. I'm a former Roman Catholic woman, currently considering myself a Spiritual being and wanting to know better about Judaism at my 67 years. Thank you and God bless you and your family!

I lost my 20 year old cat 3 weeks ago. She was my prayer partner and would often hold my hand while I was praying or reading my Bible. With her gone I have been struggling with my time with G*od. It seems so strange to pray to do all these things without her. She was my companion animal and helped to lower my stress and anxiety.

Reconnect with God, reading Scripture, WITHOUT a priest interpreting and putting the false Catholic spin on it. I know your plight very well, having been married to a Catholic for 24 years who was totally blind to Scripture on his own. He actually told me that a priest would tell him what he needed to know about Scripture. I thought, “Are you kidding me?” He, very sadly, wasn’t kidding.

This was a really timely video. I drifted away from being actively Jewish over the years for various reasons, but with everything going on over the last year, I started feeling the need to reconnect- I actually started laying tefillin again, which I don't think I've done consistently in years. It's always inspirational for me to see how other Jews, men or women, Orthodox or not, are incorporating things like prayer into their day to day life, especially because there isn't as much of this content for Jews out there as there should be. So thank you for the nudge in the right direction, and g'mar chatima tova!

And I really am enjoying your tips. I love how you explain that not only do we need the structured prayers in the Siddur. But it’s also wonderful if we can find ways to talk to HaShem throughout our day and your suggestions on how to go about it. My favorite tips you gave in this video are Make space for HaShem by using different ways of focusing your mind and your surroundings on HaShem. Scheduling time for HaShem. I also like the tips for Journaling. I used to write letters to G-d as a child. I like that you suggested something very similar to this.

Thank you so much for this video. You have no idea how much I needed it. For a while now, I felt far from God, not because I stopped believing but because I got caught up on “how to believe the right way” and of course the internet is a source of so much information which lead to my confusion. Your video was right on time as I began to feel burned out. It brought me back to basics, thank you again. Also I think I would have picked the book “10 steps” and for me, getting up early, focusing my first thoughts/prayers on God is the most important step to connect with God. Have a blessed new year, dear friend.

So many beautiful prayers, and ways of dealing with life compared to the Orthodox Christian ways I grew up. I love how you are always deal with God directly. It can be done however you see or feel about God, yourself and how the two can be combined. I found comfort in not having all these go-betweens who one is suppose to pray to. (Saints, spirits, Son of etc.) I have so many questions. During this Holiday season can you please explain the Kol Nidre prayer. My small introduction into Judiasm has brough me so much spiritual comfort. I left my Religion 5 decades ago. I feel better now reading Jewish texts. I'm presently reading the Torah for my third time. It is a perfect guide for any and all issues in life. Thank You

New Year, New You.... As a Christian, I try to find different ways to expand my faith and appreciate G.od for his love and care for us. As part of the Catholic denomination of Christianity, I am finding I am carrying around a Rosery on hand when I am out in case I wish to do my Rosery prayer while I am out and about or even near me at home. As for the books, I would say maybe both as they offer different insight for one's journey.
