Any advice on reinstalling the wheel? I have upgraded to a carbon fiber flat bottom one and had to pull it off twice already cause won’t sit straight it’s crooked

I noticed your old wheel was centered... after installation the new wheel wasn't... did that cause problems with the steering wheel position sensor?

The question I have is where does the metal assembly come from? Mind you it looks great, but after seeing the Chinese metal. Steering wheels break or bent, aftermarket ones make me worry/

These are made using OEM wheels. The metal you see was what manufacturerd between 97-2004. The wheel skin if you wheel is what is replaced. It's aluminum.

I just got one of the carbon dipped steering wheels. I wanted one of the leather, but they were out of stock. No more than they cost, I may keep an eye on the website and get the leather once they do come back in stock. I'm seeing this video 2 months after you posted it. After a couple months, how are you liking the leather vs. the carbon?

Now that was the biggest downgrade I've seen in a while! Next, you'll going to pull the LS6 out for the LS1 swap (just kidding) LOL .....I still love your content though. Just a heads up, those carbon wheels have been on backorder for the last 4 months from ALL vendors. Now is the time to sell it. I've bought two over the last year and had to wait months.

While this new flat-bottom wheel looks better than stock, I'm still not a fan. Modifying the four-spoke C5 wheel is like polishing a turd, as the design is quite ugly. I'd rather upgrade to a 3-spoke C6 wheel, but you do you.
