Your cottage is so adorable! When we stay at an Air B&B, I like to leave it cleaner then when we arrived. We did the same thing when we rented an apartment or house. My husband and I (here in the U.K.) often spend weekends away together at air b&b’s and I always clean them before I leave. As a homemaker, I suppose it’s my default setting! Free will donation means that you can give any amount you wish for an item. Many fundraisers do a "free will donation".
