I would have used fried oil that was used for frying everything for tadka because you get all the flavors from Chilli and karipatta!!

Everybody's favorite recipes today. Wah!! Ranveer Poha Chivda. Best thing I liked is the last step of putting chivda on the tissue paper to remove the excess oil for long storage purposes. Very good 👍 My next favorite is your communication skills and songs tadka in between. That's why I prefer to watch your cooking sessions. Keep it up, expecting more and more from you 👏 👍

I've see maharashtrians drying chivda in the sun and later thadakafying with very less oil. Sorry I mean drying the potatoes in hot sun and then doing the thadka

I do love the way you make cooking look so simple and easy. At 16:54 and 17:08, we see bugs crawling out and instead of re-shooting with fresh ingredients you continued the show which hasn’t gone well with me at least. You could have easily edited the same later out of the video as well. Anyways, keep doing great work and ensure these things aren’t repeated. Cheers !

Hi Ranveer… thanks for your wonderful channel and effort to chronicle Indian food and recipes. It is really going to help preserve our culture in long run. Some of the Punjabis make mukhmaniya on Diwali, i.e lobiye ka stuff Paratha for breakfast. I was shocked to see this did not appear in google or KZbin. Will be really thankful if you could make this recipe on your channel so that it is documented along with it’s importance for future generations to refer. Thanks 🙏

Chef, the first recipe you shared...we do the non-fried version of it at home. We dry roast all these ingredients and season as per taste. It's a guilt-free snack then 😊

Instead of deep frying thick poha, you can put poha in a baking tray and bake it for 10/15 mins on 300 degrees Fahrenheit in convention oven and add thadka after its dried, mix it well. Thank you Ranveer Brar! Like your singing talent👍🏼👍🏼

I have been watching you for quite some time and do try making a few here & there. You are also a great critic of plating but to my taste today your last chivda (your fav) would have looked better if you would have used the black container (for contrast). Hope you don’t mind. Tisrawala Diwali chivda nhi hai. Mumbai me ise dadpe (.दडपे पोहे)bolte hai. Ise Kbhi bhi bnaya jata hai, aur turant khatam krna hota hai. Shef life nhi hoti. Bnaneke bad thodi der vjnke niche rkha jata hai. Fir khaya jata hai. Soft hota hai. Fresh coconut (खवून) skrep krke dalte hai. Chahe to bilkul thodasa nimbuka rs dalskte hai.

❤ मजा आ गया बेटा रणबीर। बनते बनते मुंह में पानी आ रहा था। एक चीज ऐड करना चाहूंगी। मैं इसमें सूखे नारियल के चिप्स तलकर मोटा चूरा तथा लॉन्ग का फ्लेवर भी एड करती हूं । तुम इतनी अच्छी तरह से बताते हो की कितना भी समय लग जाए कोई बोर नहीं होता। बिना प्याज लहसुन की कुछ स्पेशल सब्जियां बताना। मैं प्याज लहसुन नहीं खाती हूं इसलिए तुमसे रिक्वेस्ट कर रही हूं। दिवाली पर मैं तुम्हारा बताया हुआ पोहा बनाया था सबको बहुत पसंद आया। अब याद आया कि मुझे कमेंट्स भी लिखना था।❤

Ranveer ji paper towals ke neechey ydi 2-3layers of news paper frying ke baad daal dein toh pehle hi bahut saara oil nikal jaata hai, aur garm garm mein hi hadi namak mirch dalte rehne se achcha colour bhi aata hai aur oil bhi bhut saara nkal jaata hai.
