Not yet! He would be the best if he works on perfecting his English pronunciation which every native English speaker picks up. If he does that then we can have this convo about being the best. ATM when he sings in English he still sounds somewhat like a newly arrived "immigrant".....he has gotten better in the last 5 years or so but still has work to do. Diction is an aspect by which any singer is judged on. Examples would be check out how non-native English speakers from the Philippines have great English diction when they sing English songs......they sing perfect English like any native English speaker and yet when they speak English they still have a rather thick Filipino accent....why? They train their diction when they sing. It can be done!

Quite funny how often I have listened to Diva Dance since I heard Dimash sing it the first time. When Fifth Element came out, I didn’t care for this piece - I mean, who would care about a synthesized piece of music?! I remembered it and the fuss, but it didn’t excite me. It wasn’t “real”. Then Dimash came around... wow! I’ve listened to other versions and no one is as good as Dimash. Your reaction and analysis -as always - is spot on!

Thanks so much, my beautiful friend! As a fellow Dear (😉), I can't help but agree - he really is, the best singer in the world! And I mean that both subjectively and objectively - because although this vocal flex might be an undeniable example of the latter, it's his ability to live in the music and share the emotion of a song, that takes him from catching eyes, to capturing hearts (see, «Love Is Like A Dream»)... he really is amazing, and I just love him to bits! And it helps that he's a truly gorgeous human, too...🤗 (or at least, when not singing as a big blue alien on the stage!)

Bastau means first, it’s his first big concert in Kazakhstan after 2017 The Singer. The last few songs are amazing but not many reactors reacted to those, which I hope you would. There are Leyla, Jamaica and Astana Waltz.

Just discovered this guy while discovering Diana Ankudinova. I am a music fan of nearly every genre and I have to agree that he is the best male singer that I have ever heard. Yay! I am so excited to see!! Even with the same song, he performs it different ways in different stages , yet still high quality of masterful singing. I never forget his loud whistle of diva dance in the concert in China. That whistle is so sastifying. Actually I don’t mind and many many Dears don’t mind if you do Dimash marathon which same song and many stages for like an hour reaction video, 😂😂😂 check fancam and everything, he is so consistent and awesome!

Dimash does sport for his lungs. In the past he did fight sport. He was very good at it but had to chose. Become a fighter or a singer. Dimash chose singing and switched to swimming sport.

In Dimash's own words.. Singing is a sport. His stomach muscles are like steel from swimming, playing ball, and he does Tai Kwon Do and gymnastics. He has vocal coaches as well as ENT doctors that tend to him. His commitment from age 5 is amazing and a blessing.
