I grew up loving this song, and even named my Dad’s first boat “Sunny” after it. It was yellow ❤ now all these years later, and having YOU teaching it… it’s Faith and Fate this has happened. I’m so excited to elevate my guitar playing to where I can finally start feeling like a jazz musician again. I’m new to guitar but not jazz, and this just hits so many emotions for me. Hey hello Andy. Great lesson! A real classic song. Isn't this song another example where the melody is mostly coming from the pentatonic scale?

Nice Andy. Makes me think of Blue Bossa... except the key change is a little different I think the major is not the 4 chord in that. Searched and found you did a lesson on it... well the Db if tri and 7 could be the 5 so when the Db goes to the 2 chord the Db#9 is pretty cool after it
