You're welcome! Use both hands! Its not easy! Muting technique is so important! After you play that minor 7th chord... mute with your lefthand.

@tomofujitamusic I need to know how to practice and mastering arpeggios that way! I'm 25, I've been playing for 10 years and I'm stuck. I'm great rhythmically, but I'm still waiting for an EFFECTIVE system to practice my lead guitar skills. I can't afford to allow myself to waste more time. I'm tired to be told different mental approaches from everyone, for the first time I think Tomo's could be "MY" online teacher. It's frustrating because I feel I'm able to manage this guitar level ("wisdom"), but I've no idea how I should start, mentally and technically. Hi Tomo, I have your book and I've been practicing this song. I can play it but it doesn't good. Especially the Am7 with the little finger sounds so BAD when I play it! It's very hard to play this without choking some strings. I can play normal bar chords no problem, but I don't know why this one is so hard!

I really like the way you play with out see the fretboard...for me that's impossible im really struggling with shapes because every chord has a different triad and shape , the only way to get that is try to remember each position and that's very hard

Tomo, Thank you very much! This is perfect, I have been working on this song recently and this came at just the right time. I love your leads so very much! I have a question, is the Gm7 - C7 - Fmaj7 a ii-V-I in F Major and the Bm7 - E7 - Am7 a ii-V-i in A Minor, meaning that the song is switching between these two keys??? I'm not professor Tomo but there are a lot of ways you can navigate this. what you're saying is definitely a way to go about it. just strict A minor pentatonic licks would work as well (switching between minor-major expecially when there is a Bm7- E7#9 is always a way). I think playing over the individual chords while adding extension chord tones as while as chromatic runs would give it the jazz character you might want in a song like this. What I said are just some things I experimented with! You can go into many other modes and experiment. Honestly it's jazz and you can't go wrong as long as it sounds good! One cool thing I realized is that you can mix a lot of the modes together because for example E7#9 is technically the Bb13 chord with a E as a bass, as least that's how I view it. Hello tomo and all the people watching :) i have a question the few quit funky chords you do between 3min36 and 4min just little transition you often do such moves and even if i can figure them out with a lot of listening and watching closly, can anyone tell my where they come from, how do you find these little chords i dont even know what they are and even less where to look for them in my own music.
