You’re right about the thinner, ballpoint lines. It looks a lot better than the thick black lines.

I never could get this to work. How wet is the paint when you scrape? Do you let it almost dry?

Make sure you are using heavy weight paper, and the paint is mostly scraped off, but still damp when you apply water. Keep experimenting - you'll get it! Took me a few trys before it happened every time.
