Pocket Ref! I grew up on things like that. Ready Reckoners, Logarithm Tables, Drilling and Tapping charts, etC. I was pleased to see that you still use them rather than just "going online". Love it!

you are telling me that the concrete slab from the cement mixer truck that exploded survived almost intact and it still got the half of the barrel of the mixer still stuck to it... impresive.
@lautimartinez63415 ай бұрын
Im guessing that was the second cement mixer. The one that they blew up with regular explosives. The third one is the one that the exploded to kingdom come and there was next to nothing left of that one lol

The closest equivalent store to Urban Ore that’s near me is a place called Annie’s Collective Wonderland. Ive built up so much of my collection from them, from uranium glass to old books and electrical equipment. They have all kinds of strange and unique items, one of my favourite places to go.

I have actual three personal favourites: the Scrapyard, Sexshop and several secound hand and thrift stores. Finds are sometimes where you dont expect them. In my favourite Secound Hand shop i found cool clothing like Skaterskirts, Croptops, Sandals, pumps and hoddies but also tools like handplanes, saws, chisels, wrenches and also stuff like a drinking horn or a riding crop. Even Scrap leather like belts are there cheap and i can build a lot out of this. Most of my Lara Croft Cosplays are based on clothing i found there. I just wisch i have somewhere a store where i could buy latex sheet stock for my cosplays and things like corset boning.

32:17 Not sure if this myth had happened at the time of recording but there has been at least one case where that's very false. The myth of a cardboard box being more nutritious than the cereal it contains, they had an experiment that (thankfully?) didn't make the cut. They had two or three rats, one of them was only fed the cardboard box, it was starved and malnutritioned to the point that it ended up killing and eating the other rats :(

I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...

The variety of textures in the kislux pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
