Diver Ed and the Dive-In Theater | JONATHAN BIRD'S BLUE WORLD

In Bar Harbor, Maine, Jonathan spends a day diving with his friend Diver Ed on his boat the Starfish Enterprise. Diver Ed and his wife Captain Evil take people on a virtual dive called the Dive-In Theater with a video camera attached by a long cable to a TV monitor on his boat. Their ocean explorations are famous around New England, and when Jonathan joins the crew for a day, the guests are in for a good time!

How much was your scuba diving certification?

Tzuriel Williams It was about 200 dollars for the Padi open water diver ecourse Then you need some gear ( wet suit, goggles, fins and a few other things depending on where you go) for me it came out to about 300 dollars Then you need to do the pool dives (this costed for me about 190(I got a discount because I bought the gear at the shop)) Then the open water dives are about 30 to 100 dollars Ps. The actual SCUBA gear ( BCD, Regulator, weight belt / integrated weights) you could just rent wherever you go for your open water dives

This brought back memories. My family and I did Diver Ed's Dive in Theater twice. Although,we went in October each time. My daughter has dreamed of being a marine biologist ever since.

This is one of my favorite videos It because Jonathan himself is a New Englander and we are all crazy I know cause I live there myself in Massachusetts. His friend is also from Maine who is totally nuts and I love it because I believe Jonathan is the same way as his buddy is nuts. I did love watching this because you could see how good his friend was with the kids of course being from New England what do you expect! This whole video was hilarious and also very much pleasure to watch as well I will keep following this guy because he’s dynamite

Wow, what a awesome chance for young people to find a way to experience the water and with people of safe intendid experience. I wonder how many children are welcomed as a another optional career way? Im sure the seeds of such merits will shine through and already of might been. As a side note...I wonder how much time will go by for those children to return and share ones own thank you.💙💛

Not sure what I think about this video... I've been a subscriber for a couple of years and liked almost every video I watched, but just can't give a like here. This guy is so obnoxious and basically teaches children that it's fine to treat other animals like toys. I mean, wtf is this shaking an alive lobster at 6:00 and 6:57, for example?
