Keith has such great technique, stick control and dynamics. What a humble drummer, the world needs more humility!

Wonderful drumming and a man to admire. Srikes me as being modest and self effacing, more interested in making great sounds than being a drum geek. He's also got a 'Buddy' left hand. Fantastic.

It's a shame the Gretsch guy didn't have the answer, but they have five lugs as a way of brining down the price for gigging drummers in NYC.

Oz is an incredible musician and has surrounded himself with some of the world's finest musicians. He also has Anton Fig on his album Schizophrenic. The title track features Anton and Keith Carlock. Dave Weckl makes a couple of appearances as well on that album.

The only thing I wish Keith did differently in his style is I wish he utilized the match grip approach.

Hi, 3 Seven: He’s a Dad now. That’s just what happens. Most of your other drum hero’s probably are single with no kids. The only thing in their life is drumming. I’m sure if Kieth really needed to he’d shred.
@RogierRJDonker3 жыл бұрын
Do you play different stuff all the time? Most guys in the big league can play certain stuff extremely well and fit it into all stuff. Take Gadd for example. Better be a master a 5 or 6 things than a mediocre player at 500 things.

Weird when I watch drummers who play traditional grip, they ALL look like they have a 30 lb weight on they're left shoulder lol. *FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, STRAIGHTEN UP!*
