Steve has been my favourite drummer since I first saw him as a young 18 year old with the Style Council!! I've since been lucky enough to have a week long drumming "holiday!!" With him and Gregg Bissonette plus a few private lessons!! I learnt so many valuable lessons!!

Steve white True professional Love his groove , taste , restraint - what he doesn’t play is as important as what he does

Shame I missed this show. Thanks for holding the flag for Big Band music. It's an inspiration to listen to this, and the line up was astounding. Looking forward to the next show.

Ive just come back from the Freddie Gee drum camp and was so privileged to have been taught by Pete and Steve. Its reignited my love for drumming. They have impressed upon me that we all have the ability to become great at the instrument with focus, application and time. Thanks for sharing Ian.

Inspiration. I dare make a goal to play with a orchestra, but I have begun the journey to see what is out there and this is nothing but inspiration.

I really loved these videos you did. I came across big band music when I was about 7 years old but never really got into it, but I respected the musicianship because it all sounded so complicated to me at the time. Now that I'm taking drum lessons I've been having a blast playing Jazz music and have been listening to this music more and more. Amazing playing and drummers. It's seriously a huge inspiration!

don't recall Steve White ever drumming for Oasis. His brother Alan did. Steve is best known for The Style Council, Paul Weller's band, The Who, Trio Valore & The Family Silver, although there have been other projects.

Your ride cymbal sounds a lot dryer on this video t h a n the one on your 4 part series. Could be the same one but it sounds a lot better to me! And always listen to your father Joe Morello is the greatest of all time! Nice work!
