Try this book: The Rules of Wealth' By Richard Templar. Very easy to read in small chunks. Then just immerse yourself into reading all the books you can on it. I'll be detailing the ones I found the best soon in a video. I'ver read around 40 of them over the years..

Hi Nicola, I really would love to buy shares with the money I no longer pay out on my mortgage - but I don't know how to do it and I don't know where to begin to start reading about it where I'm not going to get ripped off. I would be so very grateful if you could / would say to me "go here and read this which explains...." I have absolutely no idea how to begin investing in the stock market without some financial cretin or other smiling at me and telling me "Ah yes, we took your £1,000 investment ... but everyone knows about the £250 managment fee (or some other fee)" so although you mande £78 for your £1,000, your portfolio is only worth £813 now.... Any help of where to start would be really appreciated.
