These little flowers come up every year, and it seems like I get some surprise new ones each year. Thought I would move a few from a large clump to a new location.
I garden in zone 6b. We have some pretty challenging weather sometimes. I don't claim to be an expert, so you will see my successes and my failures. I really appreciate feedback, so please say hi so I'll know you've dropped by.

I recently started a page on facebook. It will include photos and some additional information that doesn't show up on youtube. / midwestgardener

Good to know they can withstand that and still bloom a few weeks later. Tough little buggers.

+The Last Grownup in the Woods They are tough enough that some people consider them weeds.

I dug a bunch of these up today. Before seeing your video I was wondering why so many onions were growing where I planted grape hyacinths. Thanks for the vid!

+Mark Thieme Yep, I think they are probably hardy enough to be moved just about anytime.

I've got alot of these coming up. I don't like how the leaves just sit in my yard. It looks like unkept clumps of grass. Wouldn't want to eradicate the plant though. Any tips for tidying up so it looks more presentable? Is it ok to just cut back all of the leaves substantially? Thanks!

I've never tried just trimming the leaves a lot, but these are pretty hardy plants for the most part. It might be worth a try.
