DB Deinosuchus is really disappointing to me. I thought this would be the time that Divine Beast to ascended its quality to the next level but well, it turned out to be awful. To be honest. Divine Beast Mods is some of the worst available. Trash animation, Even trash’er model, just take a look at Zhuchengtyrannus model, that shit look miserable lol. But ngl the sound design is pretty dope and the selection of abilities is really nice. Some of the worst thing about DB Deino is it’s SIZE. That Croc is really really really OVERSIZED. But what even worse is that its stats don’t even match its size like I can Solo it on Land with pretty much anything.

@@GameWithTonyYTI managed to bully the DB Deino with my Sarco. Granted I had my sense as 10% increased damage to wet targets but I had ripping bite on which does low damage but drains oxygen and stamina.

I don't think this comparison was done fairly, both creatures have very different playstyles from each other and it feels like you're trying to fit DB Deino into the role of KTO Deino, which it wasn't intended for. Both definitely have their uses, KTO Deino does have nicer animations but plays like an OP Sarco. Who would want to play Sarco or any other semi-aquatic if KTO Deino is on the server? They're incredibly strong, insane bonebreak and way too fast for how tanky they are. On a PVP server I can see where you'd rather use KTO Deino to overpower most other creatures. DB Deino is built more like an ambushing tank with a focus on grab for the smaller/mid-sized creatures, brawling for the bigger ones in the water. There's also more room for skill with stamina management and attacks, since it has a wider choice of moves and a weakpoint at the back of the head for your opponent to play around if they know about it. All in all, a lot more fun to fight against or play as. There's always a chance to escape on land and it lets Sarco keep its role by implementing a new one. 👍

Like i`ve said each to their own :). I do liked the DB Deino ambush animation and the fact that he can take a beating, but that`s about it. And speaking about brawils in the water, I think it can be quickly out-maneuvered and killed. It is too slow for me to grow and actually play. My main favorite remains the Sarco, then KTO Deino.

Db deino is unrealistic,oversized, stiff animations,(mouth open 24,7?) Its only redeemable quality is that it grabs and has op stats. This is an alltime low from db which has a modding team of same or even greater size than pt, whilr we have kto deino being done by a one man army, realistic and with the new update it now has 2 build paths

And if im in the northern part of the map then ill just go to hotsprings and the HT hotspring or the area near the lake thats right before the waterfall. At least with the hotsprings you can see inside the water easier and tell if anything is there.

At the end of the day? Who cares. Both are insanely overtuned and very strong modded creatures that totally outshine anything the vanilla dinos want to do. Yeah this video is "misinformation" but I can respect that its nearly a year old. DB is more accurate, looks better, has cooler emotes/animations to go with it, sounds better and is a more "realistic" playstyle these days. Its not meant to be on land but when it is, its meant to be very dangerous to approach it. Its meant to be hard for it to pursue you in water because of its sheer power, which makes sense that its stamina drains quickly and its speed is slow, this way it can live its ambush-predator lifestyle. 3:33 , the reason your stamina is draining so much is because you're sprinting on land + the pachy is bucking which takes your stamina in chunks, any proper deino player knows not to sprint on land unless its in a dangerous situation. I think maybe since this video was made it went through alot of reworks, alot of people I see trashing on DB deino talk about how bad its animations and stuff are but thats not the case now for sure. Also, idk if its just *you* or what the case is, but, in path of titans as a general rule, when it comes to front-heavy dinosaurs you're supposed to precision movement turn in place to point your head in your attackers direction, not turn into them while moving forward, you have abilities (right/left attacks) to supplement this. The only dinosaurs that can move forward while turning effectively in combat are turn-fighters such as conc etc, not large tanks.

It's not if you should play a more op version of a dino mod, it's if either mod is more balanced compared to other dinosaurs. Jeez to many people want an OP great dino, if DB dino is a huge damage/tank then it needs negatives in other areas, eg stam or agility. Play Sarco if you want a more agile version.

​@@GameWithTonyYTA deinosuchus is not supposed to be bigger than a Rex. They've been estimated at 35 to 40 feet in length so similar in length to a T.rex. The DB Gator is much larger than it should be. The KTO Gator looks more accurate and feels more pleasant to use in my opinion. Also killed an adult and sub adult db deinosuchus with a Sarco today. Was probably an unpleasant shock to them.

It’s a giant croc. You’re not supposed to chase things ON LAND. You are supposed to fight at the water’s edge and in the water. Right now it’s super strong against everything but Argents and other DB Deinos. I enjoy it but I agree with the sentiment that it needs some changes.

Arguably the DB does a lot of damage because of his CW, I suppose it will fit players that prefer slower, ambush/brawler playstyle. I just expressed my first play thoughts about it and that was enough to tip the scales to my personal favorite, the KTO.

Yall are against anything that isnt op, dbs deino was made accurately to an actual GIANT GATOR, aka not made for land. Ktos deino was specifically designed to rely on bonebreak and armor, and yes i do agree dbs deino does need a health or armor buff but other than that its fine. And no i dont wanna hear people going "ErM WeLl YoU PrObaBly ONly PlAyeD Dbs DeInO" no, no i havent, i mained ktos deino for a solid 5 months and even i thought it was op. And also are you all really gonna listen to someone who doesnt even know what deinocheirus is, cmon people. Sorry for the late reply. It`s dependable, personally I haven`t fought a Rex with the "better looking" DB Deino to see how much it can take, however I did fought an Acro and a Giga and It can take a lot of beating. Afterall the Rex has the strongest bite in the game, so rarely anything survives multiple bites from him.

They aren’t at all the same Dino even though they are technically. Different sizes, you’re using bone break bite instead of shell crusher, DB beats KTO in every fight. You can kill an Ed in 6 bites with shell crusher and survive it’s stomps, you have a higher combat weight than most apexes and the trade off is the speed and turning which don’t matter at all because DB has the spin and turn bites. There is no chance ever that the KTO is better.

To be honest everything DB makes is awful. They do have some pretty good dinosaur choices, but they always manage to mess them up and their dinosaurs look are awful. and all dinosaurs animations from emotes to movement animations are awful.

One thing I *really* don't like about DB's Deinosuchus, is that it cannot regenerate stamina on land unlike KTO's Deinosuchus. It's such a weird mechanic for something like Deinosuchus. It kind of binds it to being only an underwater ambusher and thats it. Meanwhile, KTO's Deinosuchus can go freely on land *and* be an underwater ambusher. Both have different playstyles and such, I get it. But that has always bothered me with DB's Deino. DB Deino wins in animations, while KTO's Deino wins in gameplay imo

DB deino has insane stats, I rolled 2 KTO deinos when they even broke me from behind.(They were even usuing deathroll which is really op on standing targets in and out). DB deino has a huge hitbox, broken hitbox like all DB dinos, 90* and 180* bites, insane speed ( faster then rex on land), grab hitbox grabs you from very far away at times or by the tip of your tail. Shell crusher which is broken in it of itself. Best aquatic after Sachi ( Cuz sachi has 110 damage cuz PT doesnt know what balance it). So KTO would lose in a fight if you actually play it right which isnt hard, also better heal timer then any other aquatic ( Someone could give actual timer? ). The reason its trash is the very poor quality of the model, awful animations like most DB dinos, and not a single thought of balancing and a broken hitbox that hits very wierd.

I more or less think all deinos ruin the game, because you cant go for a drink anymore, without being scared to lose all you progress. Especially because almlst every water Source is saltwater, and you are limited to a few spots, where all of the deinos are. One time, I was 9 Deinos out of the water. Who knows how many more were in the water... Just way to many people play them, because they are way to strong

I think a lot of peple play them now because of the new mod. It will die down a bit in a while. There are some spots, litle creeks where it is too shallow for the deino to be (drinking wise). And lastly... the ambush playstile is not for everyone. Personally I don`t find it interesting. It`s like camping with a sniper rifle in shooters ...

comparing turn radius when DB's deino has an attack that makes it turn 90 degres or 180 degres (even tho iDB's deino has bether turning lol), is stupid imo. and when comparing speed and stam. what would you excpect from a 8-10 ton creature meant for brawling? deffenetly not 20 seconds of stam. but both Db's deino and KTO's deino fills different playstyles. so it really dosent matter. DB' deino being more suited for brawling. while KTO's deino being more suited for "chasing" prey in water. KTO's deino sucks at ambushing, when it makes so much goddamn noise (i think) escpecialy sarco. i dont remember if DB's deino mkaes much noise either, gotta corerct me on that one if you know.

I played with the new DB Deino and made a short Horror move with it. It's relatively quiet when ambushes, the stamina is improved and actually I quite like it 🙂. I'm planning to make a full video of him in action on land and in water alike.

Yes they do because they are extremely strong instantly turning the entire croc...this is the largest carnivore based off of a 15 ton deinosuchus....and it can do random burst of apeed and turn onna dime at the cost of stamina....if it didn't cost stamina it wouod be broken
