Kirill Pokrovsky was without a doubt a musical virtuoso, R.I.P. I've only recently started playing (and listening) to this fantastic and magical game. I eagerly look forward to continuing my journey in Rivellon, making my way through the entire Divinity series.

Gosh there are so many good tracks in this game but was so absorbed I couldn't appreciate them well ;_; Combat didn't have sick animations, shading or other cool effects but its the most memorable game I got a hold of, hands down

Bzzrt. And now you just had the sound effect of the lighting strike in your head. That annoying sound the lich does when he zaps you dead in one hit... yeah...

^ So fucking true. Going to cursed monastery on low level as mage without lightning damage was such pain in the ass.
@kidpog3d1016 жыл бұрын
the game was actually unplayable in the regard of killing bosses, you couldnt kill them without the trap exploit (Idk how to call it anymore it was too long ago) but yeah it was an awesome game nonetheless

People like me like to own the original stuff and as much content of it as possible, that's all. This is what makes the difference between professional and amateur people. Since you fall into the second category you will never understand me.

If i'm not mistaken, this music played in Glenborus and in the dwarven forest aswell as the area around Dwarven Bread Inn. So i guess the disliker an elf since they don't exactly see eye to eye with the dwarves(letterally) P.S. Thanks for the line Lea of Fiu Nimble. You remain one of the most unappriciated characters in the game but i still have a crush on you :P

As I always say...real men buy a physical copy.

It's not a competition to see who can play the oldest and most primitive system. I simply never stopped playing my SNES because I love the games on it. "Casual kids gaming", really? That's a pretty narrow attitude. The SNES has one of the most diverse and acclaimed libraries of all time. And no, I haven't played Dungeon Master because that kind of game doesn't interest me. I simply play the games I like, old, new, "kiddie", or otherwise. And "retro" means outdated...which SNES certainly is...
@salmonblox12 жыл бұрын
Wow. Way to assume things. I'm a child of the 80s, and I just told you I collect SNES games. I'm a huge retro-gamer, and I don't even own a modern console. I LOVE owning the real thing, but I'm not a big enough idiot to pretend that it's the only way to game. If you want to disregard digital distribution, you're in for a hell of a wake-up call in the next decade, because that's the direction we're headed. Good grief. Hipsters have made it to gaming. My worst nightmare.

@salmonblox12 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that analogy doesn't work, sorry. It's not like you're playing with the actual cartridge or disc, you load the data from it. There's no difference from playing a digital copy, except for the emotional response you get. Which I'm all for, I'm a huge SNES collector myself, but that's certainly not the only way to do things. Besides, Steam has plenty of benefits that physical copies can't match. Just don't be so condescending. Our community has more than enough of that already.

The thing i loved about this game is that you could just kill the people you didn't like. Personally, if I had to choose between Diablo 2 without multiplayer and DD, i'd choose DD. It's a real shame DD2 wasn't as good as this one, but DD3 seems quite nice already.
@salmonblox12 жыл бұрын
Really. I was not aware that every game made for the SNES was "simple" and "easy". That honestly is a astounding accomplishment....do you even hear yourself? Games do not need to be retain the arcade sense of "difficulty" or require a keyboard to be deep and challenging, or engaging for audiences of all ages. If you would like to stick to your Amiga and play nothing else, knock yourself out, but I'm not going to listen to your drivel about "kid's games". Try expanding your horizons.

And also, you may want to research hipsters, and what they're really all about, because you keep throwing that around without making sense. What, exactly, is hipster about enjoying a certain game console....or using the word "wow"?
