Not necessarily. These are primarily Rashi combos. While they could work in the D9, I have not tested them there.

Not at all the same. That's a Karmic Glue combo that can indicate powerful attraction and infatuation, but great disturbances as well. RA/KE are not part of the Soulmate combos, even though they factor in "fated" types of relationships.

Hey Simon ...I'm sag Asc with da Saturn in my ascendant.What If I have sun ,mercury , Jupiter in Aries in my chart and my girl has mars , Saturn and Jupiter in her 7th house in her chart .. That's entirely different from the three combos explained. JU-MO or JU-ASC combos are very helpful and indicate friendship, support, and a well-wishing attitude. But the combos described above indicate primal archetypal soul connections leading to love relationship and marriage.

Match planets by rashi- if your MA is in Virgo and your partner has their SU in Virgo that's a match. Please read Light on Relationships by Hart de Fouw. It gives you the basics of how to match charts.

Thanks for the tip! I agree on principle, but remember that Yuddhishthira and his brothers also followed the vedas and astrology, but they had no problems eating meat. One does not always preclude the other. Ayurveda recommends many meat recipes. Consider also that Vedic rituals sometimes sacrifice animals, like the Ashvamedha sacrifice. Not all that is Vedic is vegetarian- in fact that was popularized much later by a non-Vedic avatar- Gautama Buddha.
