Thank You Father Chris for still another beautiful episode that was both heartwarming and inspiring. Our Blessed Lord speaks to us in many ways as I received the e-mail with the link to this insightful episode at 3:16pm! That has always been my favorite Bible Verse! Confession to me is disposing of the burden of sin on my shoulders and heart. I love reading my Divine Mercy Bible and attend Sunday Mass, First Friday and First Saturday Masses online from So. California. God Bless You Father Chris and My Brothers and Sisters of this Wonderful Parish. Please also pray for me and please give me your blessing. + George

Dear, what we believe is that we repent to God first; and then we need a priest (who represents Christ) for confession as Lord Jesus said in the Bible: whoever you forgive their sins, they are forgiven (John 20:23)

The wonderful testimonies are very awe-inspiring to people who are hesitant to go to confession for many reasons. God never hesitates to help by whispering to their hearts, “Be not afraid.” As a penitent, it’s good to open our minds and follow His voice that we may learn to walk on the right path again and changed. God loves us unconditionally, in return, it’s a beautiful, adorable act to love Him, the way He wants to be loved. Thank you, Fr. Chris, on this very important episode on Confession, a light we all need to stay at peace with God and man.

God Bless You for this informative and lighthearted guidance on the Sacrament of Reconciliation! I am 70 yrs. old and through the years the expectations of Reconciliation have changed/evolved so sometimes I feel like I no longer know how to "confess" in the right way. I have had a priest tell me no that isn't a sin or don't confess the past sins even if you never confessed it before. I figure if the Holy Spirit convicts me of something even it's in the past, then he wants me to bring it to the sacrament. I've become scrupulous lately because I can't seem to "get the process right"! I've spent a lifetime confessing and yet each priest has different expectations, so this confuses me. Again, Thank You! Very inspiring, concrete guidance as well as lighthearted. Great work! Jane D.

Amazing message! I have some amazing news too. I gave my Mother-in-law a five year enrollment for healing from the Marians. She isn't Catholic but when I made her dinner yesterday she seemed to a lot of questions about "Our Lady of Guadalupe." We watched a documentary and movie on it. She normally talks over and through movies, but she was surprisingly really taking it in. Fr. Don was on the documentary we were watching and I mentioned that he was a Marian and from the order who is praying for her. I don't know what's going on with her, but she's normally a very difficult personality and full of negative emotions and vitrolic commentary. She's been that way for the 17 years I've known her, but there's something that seems to be shifting in her spiritually since I enrolled her. I'm crediting prayers of the Marians. She still has the physical issues that I initially enrolled her for, but she's always needed spiritual healing. I'm very grateful that God's working in her life toward the healing that's best for her soul.
