I read this book by Mark Twain years ago. He spent years in France researching her life as a basis for the historical novel. One scene shows how Joan reprimanded French soldiers taunting a dying English soldier. She immediately sat on the ground, and held the soldier’s head in her lap while demanding the service of a Catholic priest to provide last rites. A short episode that said everything about her saintliness and mission.

If there were ever a time in our history when a St Joan of Arc is necessary it is now. Corrupt courts? Does that ring a bell? Imagine wearing opposite gender clothing was a crime then? What a fascinating series of events she lived! I must remember her cry as she was burned at the stake :”Jesus and the Church are One”. WHOA!!!! Today, May 31 I am praying for and wish God’s very abounding blessings on Father Chris, the truth teller and Father Don, the sword bearer on the anniversary of their ordinations to the holy priesthood. Wish I could be a hero like St Joan. I'm a 67 yr old nan. I feel ashamed that a young woman has more faith than I do. I don't feel GOD or the trinity around me. I know no one cares of my problems or failings. I just want to put on paper how GOD puts up with me. It is nothing to be proud of. Just want others to feel better that GOD does more for you than other people .

I'm happy to hear about the new film, Jesus Thirsts, but it saddens me that a message so important to mankind is restricted monitarily and by accessibility. After the visits from the holy souls in purgatory, God has sent me this beautiful images for me to know that everything has gone well. They the holy souls looked ancient. Once again, this time no contemporary looking of the young asian mother and the young boy. And l did not resisted the holy souls time after, either. The images appeared was adorable. Which, that made me to realize that the holy souls has been released. Holy leaf and the sunsets and three images, l like to believe. There is a painting in Orléans, where Joan of Arc and René d'Anjou, the new Duke of Lorraine, (they were the same age) are both kneeling in front of Mary, holding infant Jesus in her arms. However, I do not believe that Joan knew she would be burned at the stake or becoming a martyr, since during the trial in Rouen, at the Bouvreuil tower, she mentioned that after the inquiry/trial, she wanted to go to visit her sister in Lorraine !

It is dumbfounding that St Joan of Arc was not canonized until 1920. The sham trial she underwent was not the only mistreatment she endured at the hands of the Church.

The Catholic Church of Normandy at the time was under the control of the English aristocracy !! That trial at the Bouvreuil tower in Rouen was mainly a political action ! Joan was accused of heresy, since the English aristocracy wanted to demonstrate that Charles VII had used Joan to obtain the French crown and Joan being now a apostate, an evil woman, Charles' coronation at Reims, Summer 1429, was certainly invalid and worse the Armagnacs had rejected the Troyes treaty which was signed, numerous years before, by both parties, the French and the English. To rebuff that English political trial of 1431 , Charles VII of France, initiated the Rehabilitation Trial for Joan of Arc ! Why Joan became a saint only in 1920 ! After the Franco-Germanic War of 1870 , France was in turmoil with internal conflicts especially in Paris and disunity. A national hero , a saint had to be found to unite the country, again. For several years before the 1870' war, Jules Michelet, Jules Quicherat and especially the Bishop of Orléans, Mgr. Dupanloup wanted the Maid of Orléans as the new ''héroine du patriotisme of France'' . Then, about, 1879, the Paris Roman Catholic Church requested from the Vatican the sainthood' application for the now called, Maid of Orléans. Joan became a Saint in 1920 !

Dear all God Bless You, Dear Father Chris, I didn't want to write anything, but I felt a prompt I should. Dear Father this video for me sound incomplete with regards to the message of Divine Mercy. It is as if you were forced to do it. How can the show forgo mentioning the children of God suffering in Palestine, and of course in Israel also. What is going on. And that Bible quote at the end was not appropriate as far as I am concerned. If am mistaken may God enlighten me, if you are may God enlighten you. United in Prayer

To compare Joan of Arc to King David is quite sad and shocking ! David took Bathsheba, Uriah' wife and arranged for Uriah's death by placing him on the front line of his army ! This was plainly a sexual abuse of his power as a king ! David even try to conceal his crime...sure, he repented however only after being confronted by the prophet . Jehanne was a brilliant young woman of 21, who was abused, exploited and at the end, tragically removed by the same people she wanted to serve !

During the 15th century, both the English and the French were Roman Catholics, the patron saint of the French army and mercenaries was Michael the Archangel and English army patron saint was Gabriel the Archangel ; ....a possible delicate situation in Heaven !?

Nothing ''evil'' here ! This nasty political struggle, at whatever the cost, was between the English aristocracy, the Lancaster Royal family and the French Valois Royal family, the Armagnacs. Both had an equal opportunity to obtain the French crown, especially after the Troyes treaty, where both aristocracies had agreed several years before, who was to be the new future king ! The Roman Catholic Church of Normandy was under the control of the English aristocracy, not England. The ''French'' population at the time was about 11 millions + and in England, probably about 2 millions . England was never in a position to overtake France ! Furthermore, at the beginning of the 15th century, they were still a Feudal system, the idea of fighting as a country against another country is not totally real, it will come later. Yet, the age of Chivalry is dying and the aristocratic knights will slowly disappeared and replaced by the Bourgeoisie !
