Hey, so cool. We live in Chemainus and have watched that mostly submerged boat hanging from its mooring for quite some. The owner tried to figure out how to raise it, but eventually gave up. I noticed that it wasn’t there last week and wondered where it went … now I know. Thanks for hauling it out. 👍🏻

Fred here, Just wanted to clarify Wettie is in fact from New Zealand NOT Australia. 🤣 Chris caught me off-guard with the question and I can be a bit of a space cadet sometimes. Great video keep them coming!

Beautiful Pacific Northwest! Great video. I saw a registration on the boat you pulled out starting with 14K I think, that system has not been used in BC for a long time...

Yeah true. I think insurance should be mandatory on recreational boats. Seems crazy that it's not.

Great site. Great job on pulling the boat to higher ground. Seen some serious illegal fishing at the chemainus dry docks.

Thanks man! And yeah, better than polluting the area that's got sure. Illegal fishing? That's not good...

Now that you have some scuba time under your belt will you swap back and forth or stay with free diving. I see east to west has spear guns. Does anyone in Nanaimo have them.
@PNWSamson Жыл бұрын
Hmm not sure. Maybe island dive Outfitters? A lot of scuba shops frown on spearfishing as it reduces the "eye candy" they have left to view. I'll go back and forth between the two. Scuba is so much work, I like the freedom of just jumping into the water with a wetsuit vs a drysuit. But both have their time and place!

I guess that's why they call it free diving. The freedom you have. Which editting program are you using. I like your filming/editting style.

What's your longest comfortable time submerged?
@PNWSamson Жыл бұрын
Hmm I'd say 1:20 if I do a nice long proper breath up. Most of my dives are around a minute though.
