I've been to Dhaka from ashulia to demra. Distance more than 30 miles. There's lot of greens in the city, including bashundhara residential area, cantonment area and nirjhor area etc. There is streets in various parts of the city is quiet& tranquil. you don't see many people or transports. Greater Dhaka area is 2100 sq km & population is 18 million.

হাসিনা সরকার has already spent more than US 5 Billions on flryover in the city of Dhaka alone. Which is total waste of money. একটা দেশের সরকার যদি এতো অপদার্থ হয় তবে দেশের কি ভাবে উন্নতি হবে! এই ৫ বিলিয়ন US ডলার নষ্ট না করে যদি ঢাকার বাইরে কোন একটা under developed এলাকা কে first world country মতন করে গড়ে তুলতো তবে দেশের অনেক সমস্যা সমাধান হয়ে যেত। এই ৫ বিলিয়ন ডলার দিয়ে একটা well planned city তৈরী করা যেত। যে সিটি টিতে থাকতো sky-train, articulated hybrid busses ( cng + electric ), sky-scrapers commercial buildings, hi-rise residential buildings and so on. And of couse a lots of trees everywhere. আর এই নতুন well developed modern city কে connect করে দেয়া হবে ঢাকার সঙ্গে মেট্রো রেল আর মাধ্যমে। ঢাকার পুরনো এয়ারপোর্ট এবং নতুন এয়ারপোর্ট দুইটা town এর সম পরিমান জায়গা দখল করে আছে। এই দুইটা এয়ারপোর্ট কে মডার্ন টাউন করে গড়ে তুলে যাই। যেখানে থাকবে ফার্স্ট ওয়ার্ল্ড দেশের মতন সব রকম সুযোগ সুবিধা। হাসিনা সরকার আড়িয়াল বিল এ এয়ারপোর্ট বানাবে। আড়িয়াল বিল এ এয়ারপোর্ট বানালে শত শত মানুষের আর্থিক ক্ষতি হবে। কোটি কোটি টাকার মাছের চাষ বন্ধ হবে। কোটি কোটি টাকার ফসল উৎপাদন parmanently বন্ধ হবে। Now, সরকার যদি ৫ বিলিয়ন ডলার নষ্ট করতে পারে ফ্লাই ওভার বানিয়ে তবে সে ৫ বিলিয়ন ডলার দিয়ে পদ্মা নদীর ওপর এয়ারপোর্ট বানাতে পারে। Yes, it's a much better idea to build the airport above the river padman. পদ্মা নদী যেমন আছে তেমনি থাকবে। পানিতে নৌ চলা-চল অব্যাহত থাকবে এবং নদীর ওপর থাকবে এয়ারপোর্ট। পদ্মা নদীর ওপর যদি এয়ারপোর্ট তৈরী করা হয় তবে কারো কোনো ক্ষতি হবে না। আড়িয়াল বিলের কারো কোনো ক্ষতি হবে না। We should not wait for Bangladeshi Gov to act according to our ideas. They only think about their own benefit. Please share this message with others and educate citizen of Bangladesh. They're spending Billions of dollars on flyovers but what would people of Dhaka get out of it? ** More flyover means more vehicles on the street. ** More vehicles mean more pollution. More vehicles generate more heat. Fewer vehicles mean less warm during the summer. Also more vehicles mean more possibility for accidents. ** More pollution means more possible sickness. ** More sickness means spending mone money towards doctors and medication. ** Spending more money for Doctor means less money for yourself ( No saving, Less money for children's education, no money for a vacation, no money for future ). If you have to spend less money toward doctor or medication that means more savings for you. ** We've to get rid of private cars and other vehicles that causing air pollution. Once we reduce petrol, diesel import we'll have more money to invest on other projects such as producing electricity. ** We need lots of HYBRID ( Electric and natural gas powered) powered articulated buses and small hybrid buses for relatively smaller streets. And electric trams where applicable. Underground transport service is a bad idea for a country like Bangladesh. WHY? Bangladesh গরম প্রধান দেশ। বছরের ১০ মাশই গরম থাকে। ২৪ ঘন্টার মধ্যে বলতে গেলে ৪ ঘন্টাই কারেন্ট ( electricity ) থাকে না। এই underground train service এ কতক্ষন current থাকবে আর এই সব কুকর্ম স্বভব হবে local পুলিশ এর সহযোগিতায়। প্রতি বছর বাংলাদেশে বন্যা হয়। এই বন্যার কবল থেকেও underground train সার্ভিস রক্ষা পাবে না। বন্যার পানি যখন মেট্রো তে ঢুকবে তখন electricuted হয়ে মানুষ মারা যাবে। বাংলাদেশ সরকার already billions of dollars নষ্ট করসে অপরিকল্পিত flyover বানিয়ে। এখন আরো billions অফ dollars নষ্ট করবে অপরিকল্পিত metro রেল বানিয়ে। সরকার এর আমলারা নতুন নতুন ফন্দি বার করে টাকা চুরি করার ধান্দায়। I can go on and on giving you more reason why this project is a failure. I urge to people of Bangladesh that use your common sense এবং বুঝতে শেখেন কোনটা দেশের জন্য ভালো এবং কোনটা দেশের জন্য খারাপ। Please Think
