Hold on, you have aquatic activities in PE? Usually the PE people and the swimmer/diver people were in completely different places. PE would be at the school and swim and dive would be at a different building and would be at a district level.

That’s Japan, tiny hotel rooms, arcades and those awesome washlets. Go and book a posh hotel in Tokyo for a holiday next time, walk around the parks a bit, do some baby shopping, strut down Ginza. Japan is incredibly family friendly.

When divers are encouraged to run near pools but when you run around pools in America, lifeguards whistle and yell the life out of you

Lance Louie it’s because of the location of the centre that controls your subconscious breathing in your brain- it’s right at the base of your skull where it meets your neck so lifeguards tell you not to run so that you have a much smaller chance of falling and knocking it haywire :) I’ve thought that many times too lol until I became a lifeguard and found out. It also prevents us from having to deal with more injuries than needed

Montrealer here! I recommend you guys head out to the Gay Village and catch a drag show at Chez Mado. Super fun! Otherwise there is plenty to do and see. We have beautiful museums such as the Musée des Beaux Arts and the Science Centre. You guys can check out the old port, or the Biodome as well. I also recommend you try a bagel from Fairmount or St-Viateur while you are here. Hope you enjoy our city!!

My recommendation for the Gold Coast: jet skiing! There are tours from the Sea World resort. They bring you out to the mangrove forests and its fun as you get to drive yourself. And excursions to the hinterland are great if you have a day with little training.
