Don’t Starve: Shipwrecked is an adventure indie simulation video game developed by Klei Entertainment and Capybara Games and published by Klei Entertainment. It was released on the 2nd of December 2015 and left Early Access on the 1st of April 2016. The most recent update was Seas the Day.

It is definitely possible to have gold on your starting island; it has happened at least 3 times in my worlds :D

ive had my starting island be gigantic at times when i do it and have over a stack of flint and like 7 gold without any worl changeing amd almost all my starting islands have at least 1 gold, i thought it was normal? is it really not?

If you get even one gold on your starter island ,then that's pretty lucky ,but have you ever had tidepools on them

Not that I know of. Going into the volcano is still the best way to avoid the eruptions.
