It's nice to have the kelp forests back. Back in the seventies there were hardly any of them. Harvesting the urchins did the trick.

It's back in full force this year, however on cabrillo beach along the LA Harbor Breakwall, the purple sea urchins have taken over.

It's only about 50 yards from shore, maybe 70 yards tops. The top sticks out the surface at low tide and it's about 13' feet to the bottom.

I understand and appreciate the videos and seriousness that the ocean deserves but little suggestion. Need to do a bloopers video. People in So. Cal know how cold the water is and you seem to be in a lot of rocky areas. I'm sure you have had a few O' S&!h moments! Thanks again for the videos!

The other SS Dominator dive video was from last year. Both have similar conditions. I've been waiting for conditions to get better to get the other sections of the ship on video, but no luck for a long time now...
