Wonderful competitor to the TS-L. Sounds great, very nice layout and featureset. Thanks for the demo Ben!

Recently i just bought all the nano modules line (osc, eg., Mixer, vca and filter) and they are the best. About Ona, im pretty sure im getting a second one at some point to get a more "complexer" voice!!!

Thanks for the great video. Shopping for an analog osc so this helps a lot. 👏🏻

thanks for the comment, happy to help. What's on your short list for analog oscillators at the moment then?

Beautiful, synths like these represent a fresh break from monolithic sounds in the industry, like a breath of fresh air in what is actively a dead air industry? Perhaps you shall see me in Lyon?

Great overview, how do you get your DATA to show the waveforms but without the grid and the options along the top of the screen ?
@blindianajones3 жыл бұрын
@DivKidVideo What envelopes did you use in this video? I've got the ONA and feel like I'm missing out on the full richness with the EG and or my settings.

Hello ... lovely sound. I want to buy a new VCO and I have doubts among these: NANO Modules ONA, Dixie II Intellijel or WMD Spectrum ... please help!! give me your opinion, thanks in advance :))
@benbauer10652 жыл бұрын
I'm right there with you. Wmd spectrum, ona nano or a few others. So hard. Did you decide on an oscillator?
@ADVITAM.2 жыл бұрын
Hello great tutorial! Thank you! I just acquired this nano ona which is incredible! I would have liked to know how to connect it in Cv/gate so as not to have continuous sound and to be able to play notes which relax I can't do it … I connected the pitch to the ona on my Keystep pro in 1volt per octave on Oct but for the gate of my Keystep pro or connect it to the ona? Thank you very much! and congratulations for your tutorials which are great!👍👌
@DivKid2 жыл бұрын
Hello, an oscillator will just drone indefinitely by itself (unless specifically with added features, but that's not part of an oscillator). You need a VCA (voltage controlled amplifier) to turn the sound up and down. Then you need an envelope generator which is activated by the gate and the envelope controls the signal level in the VCA. A simple patch would be - 1v/oct pitch into VCO - VCO waveform into VCA - VCA output to mix/record with - Gate out into envelope generator - Envelope generator output into VCA CV input I hope that gets you started nicely.

I loved the sequence starting at 3:50! What mode/scale were you using? It sounded lydian, maybe dominant? Reminded me slightly of Lyonel Bauchets sequences on his Buchla albums.

What a beefy sound osc! It looked like the 12oclock position of PW didn't equate to 50/50 duty cycle which is odd.
@zbsfm4 жыл бұрын
Looks to me like it goes from 0 to 50% pw?
@Jorgeslot124 жыл бұрын
@@zbsfm Hello, Jorge from NANO here :) It covers from 1% to 100% PW and the 50% is around 2-3 o'clock because was the best adjust to fit the CV input range [0, 5]V. You can have a look to the manual if you need further info: nanomodul.es/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/ONA-Manual.pdf
@AseGarcia2 жыл бұрын
The PW goes from 1% to 100% (at 100% it mutes the output totally). However the 50% duty cycle sets around 3 o'clock position, which is indeed odd.
