So much respect and love for what this man does. He doesn't write music, he creates moments in time that make you reflect on life and memories like no one else.

Same, and 2020. And 2019. R Beny provides the soundtrack to all my nature walks, with some backing from the Wind in the Willows. Thanks so much R Beny, and Div Kid too for the video.

An amazing intro and at 28:20 the hard hitting 4 to the floor kick in - just a light hearted joke - that was seriously beautiful, if was there I would have been lying comfortably on the floor experiencing it. P E A C E : )

What a weekend it was too, for me that extra special couple of weeks around the Pacific Northwest. So grateful and still amazed that could happen the whole thing was really amazing. Thanks for your part in it, things like that only happen when everyone works to pull something in the right direction.

So it's just the wind, chime, surf & simulated lo-fi tape warble? Is this the consultant for every Instagram modular account? Ah, no, he can't be because I don't see any succulents on the table.
@DivKid3 жыл бұрын
not sure succulents travel with the rig that well. Also not simulating tape warble when it's come off actual tape. I appreciate it might not be a style you're into but there's definitely a lot to gain from r beny's work when you really listen. There's a depth that emerges from it.
@cz38653 жыл бұрын
I hear ya, I have a low tolerance for succulent and healing crystal-laden gear demos, but that’s not Austin. If anything, he’s the antithesis of succ-core. I say that, having purchased an ER-301 based solely on a video of his Ultraviolet custom unit. I never use Ultraviolet, but the 301 is my most indispensable piece of gear. But I digress. To me, the music of R. Beny is not a demonstration of the kinds of sounds you can make if you buy hyped module X from manufacturer Y. It’s a unique expression of texture and sound to evoke feeling that I put right up there with Bvdub and Yellow Swans. There’s so many easy targets in this scene, but mistaking R. Beny for one is grossly missing the mark.
