When she said she needs a break sometimes, she didn't mean a break from the marriage, she meant she needs to get out of the house SOMETIMES! She needs some time away from him, maybe with some of her friends, or just some "me" time. She already said she's a prisoner at home. He wouldn't even let her go buy diapers and it WASN'T because she didn't have a license because HIS license was suspended at the time also. It's all about him controlling her, basically keeping her a prisoner. He doesn't want her to work, so he sabotages her interviews by not be available to keep his own kids so she can go to the interview. He won't let her spend any time with her friends; and only approves of the one friend that lives too far away for her to visit. . He tries to control everything she does; only proving how insecure (and probably guilty) he is himself! He's worried about making and having female friends, but he won't let her have any friends!!! They do NOT need to be married. They both do need counseling! Maybe different types of counseling, but they could benefit from counseling.
