***HONESTLY, YOU GUYS!!*** (7:04) .....this must have been a tough piece for you Two, to do! ...being honest about your union, and what it looks like behind the scenes, is a BRAVE thing for you to reveal....SO.....can I 'reveal' some things that I see!??? (cont.) ....I feel...at times....Sir Adam relies TOO much on therapy, instead of navigating through his past issues himself, and being fine with the 'end result'; he mentions therapy at least 15 times in this post, and I hope that he'll realize that LIFE is dealing with the past, and being FINE with it, as *IS* ....Bernardo, has the RIGHT idea about Therapy....MY opinion... ....BUT, it IS your lives to lead, and I respect what you give us, to "see"....and it looks lovely, EITHER way! ....keep growing, LOVING, & makin' those memories....we'll be WATCHIN'.... : )
@Stepsof2Foreigners9 ай бұрын
You make a valid point and thank you for sharing your perspective. It's important to remember that everyone's journey with therapy and personal growth is unique. While I do talk about therapy often, it's because it has been a crucial part of my journey in dealing with complex issues, some of which I haven't even shared on our channel. Therapy is not about relying on it excessively, but about finding tools to navigate life more effectively and healthily. Bernardo and I might have different approaches, but that's the beauty of individual paths to healing. I appreciate your opinion and hope our content continues to offer diverse perspectives on dealing with life's challenges.@@RBS_ It's hard talking about therapy on here because the viewer does not have the full picture of what exactly I discovered after our wedding - there were 2 quite big discoveries where 'conversion therapy' wasn't one. It sucks because I want to share it with you because it also explains the need of wanting to be in control, intimacy, etc. I’m sure some people can connect the dots but I know that it’s not the right time to share with KZbin but be aware that you don't have all the pieces of the puzzle yet but eventually I will share my story because it will be a big piece of my healing.

@@RBS_I edited the message so you might be able to connect some dots. Love this! Marriage/partnership is a lifelong evolution. I have been married for a long time and am still finding myself and finding my voice. Marriage/partnership comes with a lot of “baggage” on both sides and it’s how you find your way through all the shit that makes or breaks the relationship. You two seem to have found a way that works for you in dealing with the “shit” and it has been wonderful to watch you evolve as a couple and as individuals. Your honesty, genuineness and love is palpable! Take care! Much love and big hugs to you and of course Henry!🥰

Peggy, your comment truly resonates with us. The journey of marriage and partnership is indeed an ongoing evolution, filled with discoveries and challenges. Like you, we are continually finding our voices and navigating the complexities together and it can be a little complicated with social media. It's comforting to hear from someone who has experienced the long road of marriage and still finds new aspects of themselves. Your acknowledgment of our journey and the growth we've shared as a couple and as individuals means a lot to us. We appreciate your kind words about our honesty and genuineness. Big hugs back to you, and much love from us and Henry! 🥰

This time, I found myself marveling over the many old clips that illustrated your answers as you were explaining them. The time it must have taken you to find all those shots and clips! Just mind blowing! I’m sure it was fun, but frustrating at the same time. For instance, remembering an occasion or occurrence, but not being able to recall what video it was in! I’m sure that lots of looking back to find examples to use brought up many great memories. I really enjoyed this time you spent with us answering some tough questions. Love and big hugs to you both, and to Henry , of course!!🤗🤗❤️❤️ Harriet

But I think you two are more grounded and honest with yourselves. I also realized that our struggles were not unique and our solutions are just like yours. BTW: I'm so glad that Adam cut his hair. You're a very handsome man but your long hair detracted from your natural looks. And Bernardo, don't change your hair. You're a very handsome man, too, and the way you look in the vids adds to your masculine good looks. And Henry - keep experimenting with your boots - you'll appreciate them in the future. Thanks for the wonderful videos you've produced together and apart. Keep up the great work!

Thats the thing with gays in the US vs. Gays here in asia. In the US everything is instant. Including divorce. So when you feel bored with your partner(like when youre bored with your pet dog) you file divorce. Here in asia, we easily fall in love, and then slowly even falling deeper for the person because we see ourselves growing old with that person. Asians arent "gala"/ "ligalig" as we filipinos call it. (adventurous/thrill-seeker) thats why we dont get bored with our partners. Its opposite here in asia. Only few Asian people kind of like that sight seeings and travel. In the end of the day, they were the ones who usually commit suicide and have mental breakdowns coz they exhaust themselves and their bank accounts in all the thrills and luxury in life. A couple here in the Philippines became obsessed in travels, and luxury, they scammed lots of filipinos, a total of 5 million pesos or $100,000+ now they went to japan and thought about the scandal they made.
@Stepsof2Foreigners9 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing your perspective, @duanjisomar. It's fascinating to see how cultural contexts can shape our approaches to relationships and life choices. While it's true that in some parts of the world, including the US, there can be a tendency towards 'instant' solutions, it's important to remember that every relationship and individual is unique, regardless of their cultural background. In our journey, we've learned that patience, understanding, and deep commitment are essential in nurturing a lasting bond, similar to what you describe in Asian cultures. Your insights on the pitfalls of excess, whether in travel, luxury, or any other aspect of life, are thought-provoking and a reminder of the importance of balance and mindfulness in all that we do. Thank you again for your thoughtful comment and for being here with us..

I ended my relationship on my 41st birthday that year and 2 weeks later, started talking to a friend I had met when I was 19 and had recently been released from prison after 13 years. After 1 year of courtship and 1 year of engagement we had the honor of marrying the love of my life this past October '23. Like so many other supporters here, this video renews the confidence we have that your marriage will survive the next round of challenges that evolves because you have sought out the help and counseling that was so necessary for the personal growth required to work through the most difficult of situations that threaten so many marriages. You mentioned taking a time out now then returning to logically discuss what brought about the misunderstanding or argument works perfectly the way you spoke about it. Your candid honesty about your imperfections couldn't be any more perfect, actual calm solutions seem to be a big part of your lives now. Things couldn't be any more amazing than we see them now. Thank you. And Bernardo, I heartily agree about your hoping to visit Portugal, working for the airlines I visited that lovely country many times, some friends have even moved there. ✈ 🎄

Personally, I love Q+A videos on KZbin bc it's a fun way to quickly learn a lot of things about complete strangers that would normally take a lot of time. You guys seem more and more comfortable being yourselves around each other and your viewers, and that authenticity is nice to see. Also love seeing more of your humor poking through on this video -- my husband and I find humor very disarming and keep each other in stitches at least part of every day. It relaxes us, it bonds us, and it reminds us that we would probably be banned on KZbin for most of the things we say so we will never put up a channel haha 😂

I too have done therapy and I can tell you if I did not, I may not have been here now. My hope is that you continue to love each other and support each other, and keep working toward the ultimate nirvana in your relationship, unconditional love. I love you two. Peace and light

Bjs

You guys are wholesome! It's been a while, life has been crazy, but you guys are both still showing that which kept me coming back to your videos and is the fact that you keep proving to growing humans, a growing couple and making memories is still one of your best parts in this channel

One point that really touched me in this video is the fact that troughout our relationships that we establish in our lifes, we may totally admit our strenght and our weaknesses. I do know how hard it is for us to admit to ourselves that we really need help to keep going. I have been doing therapy for more than 1 year, and one thing I have recently realized is that all of us need therapy. Not only the gay community to help each other to face sexist societies and admit who we really are and also the other people that do not accept the way we exist in this world. Your arguments motivate people in the world do the same, which is something extremely important to empower our identites and lifestyles. And, as you had mentioned before, the importante of therapy to find ourselves whenever we need.

I don't get to check in with you guys often but I can see such a difference in how you guys relate to each other. I am so incredibly inspired by how you share your story, worts and all, and how hard you work to stay together. That is how lasting relationship endure. Thank you for putting that out there. It is inspiring, sets a great example, and gives a more real world view of how relationships really are outside the pretensive social media world.

Dogs rock - even when they’re annoying! I’m glad to see your furniture, like the couch, that accommodates Henry so well! Learning to live together, and accommodating and accepting your differences, is a lifetime’s work. I’ve been married for 44 years and we’re still working on it. I expect it to last until one of us dies. But it’s so worth it, as long as there are no irreconcilable differences, obviously.
