Exactly the idea I have in mind and to know that there’s a family that’s already doing it gives me so much hope and strength. To know this is the best for them. Thank you so much for uploading this wonderful video.

I love this!! I have sat down with my husband and explained how I feel I want and need him to be in his children life. I told him it's not the end of the world. We would do exactly what these people are doing. We fight so much and I feel this will make things better. I would never let him stop seeing the kids.

This is unrealistic for all people, so I joint counseling should be done before making a move to create another type of family.

It has been a challenge for people close to us to respect and understand our decision to get divorce and live together 3 more years.

Recently he moved out. It over all went well. He felt it was best tho that we do the full on separation. He still lives in the same state as me and he still gets to see the kiddos 🙂

I want to do this.. however.. not sure that it will work since my husband doesn't want a divorce and keeps trying to convince me to try to reconcile. But he cheated a whole lot and I have zero interest in him romantically or sexually anymore 🤷 I just want to coparent peacefully!!

I live in this situation with divorced parents and 2 siblings, all in one house though not in separate flats, and I wish it was this idyllic

Same building be fine. Kids don’t have to go far to see their parents. Most important is for the parents to have their own space. This is how live in separated can work.

divorce is the worst thing in this life but what I like about this video is that they think of the kids first by staying close

It's so uncommon but this in my opinion and experience is the real concept of co parenting. I understand that not everyone is mature enough to co parent in the same home, but it's the most healthy form of co parenting if both parents are actually capable of doing so. It allows the children to live their usual life and upbringing with both parents uninterrupted.

I just got divorced (male). I didn't want to get divorced. Neither of us wants to sell the marital home. Neither of us has another love interest. We got divorced because we argued and people outside our nuclear family aggravated me. But now I am calm. I want to move back home and be with her and my children.

At the end of the day these children have both parents regardless of the parents relationship. The children come first . These parents seems mature enough to co exist . It’s what you make it . If you can’t be mature and work well with one another then yes it will be bad for everyone . Glad these kids don’t have to deal with drama and unhappy people
