Mr.Carl Davis sung with my great uncle Willie Prentis Parker in a group The Florida Robbins for many years. My family haven't heard from him in years been at least almost 20yrs.

To all that was asking and concerned about, where and how Mr. Carl Davis is. I just want ALL to know, God is so good he is living in Richmond Virginia, his birth place. And is doing well for 82 yrs young as he said it to me. What a awesome talk we had, I had known Bro Carl Davis, Johnny (shorty ) Bennett of the same group since I was about 10 yrs old. As I was singing with a younger version of The Morning Star quartet group out of Mt Vernon NY, named The Morning Star Jrs. And we would be on programs together, up in Yonkers at Community Baptist Church, and over at Rev Upshaw and Rev Evans churches also with The Florida Robbins, Gospelettes, Lunenburg Travelers and many more of the great groups out of the Yonkers, Mt. Vernon and the united states which would come up to those Churches for programs like The Nightingales, Harmonizing Four back in the 60s and 70s. I had mention to him about all the love, people was given him on this you tube page. I was over joyed and so thankful to everyone, we touched on a lot of different subjects as we had not seen or talked to each other in years. He had mentioned to me, that he had retired from the group back in 2005. He had joined them back in 1992, and was so grateful and honored to have been able to sing with 2 The Swan Silvertones / Dixie Hummingbirds of the LEGENDARY GREATEST GOSPEL QUARTETS EVER. He sends his Love and Prayers to all.

I met Brother Davis back in the 90s with the Birds. He shared his time with the Swan Silvertones as Claude Jeter's replacement. I would like visiting him in Richmond since I am in Virginia Beach. Please provide a contact number or address or both. Thank you so much.
