God, that scene with maria ALWAYS gets me! You FEEL shadow's pain and loss and really shows you their sibling love. WHY DID MARIA HAD TO DIE! 😭Loved the reaction too btw 😊

Shadow is not remembering past moments with Maria, but sees the (dark) fate that was awaiting him if he'd succeeded to heal Maria: death.

Shadow was so close to crying, he's really shut down his emotions ;w; Sonic would likely kick the missile away while Scourge probably could just catch it like Shadow due to being enhanced by the Master Emerald. Surge would probably just let it hit >w>

Shadow is not on the verge of crying. He is overshocked by the visions of the (dark) fate that was awaiting him if he'd succeed to heal Maria: death. And Maria, Gerald and everyone abord the ARK knew about that all this time.

Man, that was awesome! I love the song at the end, I can’t wait to hear the full version! The missile thing was epic, and the part where Shadow ejected the soldier reminded me of that scene from Iron Man. I get you got a busy life. It’s not easy to balance that and creating content.

These are not flashbacks because they never got the chance to go on Earth. They are visons of the (dark) fate that was awaiting Shadow once he'd succeed to heal Maria: death.
