one thing I have noticed from studying other successful channels (as someone just starting as a fishing youtuber) is that the audience connecting with the individual is a huge thing. The ones that face the camera more seem to build that with the viewer. @@DixonsFishing

It’s a lure made by Redtank lures I don’t think they are available anymore but for a simple basic lure they work great

Loving the landbased fishing mate! just wondering how the saltist 18k was holding up? any issues with the main zinc gears or have they treated ya alright?

Thanks for watching. The Saltist range has been a great series of reels for me. I’ll be honest for this heavy heavy stuff it’s rough on gear and the 18k model hasn’t liked fishing pe10 and I’ll be upgrading it shortly to a Certate. The 10k model and 50LB line not a problem at all and I find myself grabbing it over my Saltiga most trips.

I have both maverick and Certate and very happy with both of them. In some cases I would pick the Certate over the Saltiga with the lighter rotor is spins more freely
